More information about the video: The Mustang featured is in the GT FastBack trim level, equipped with the performance package and night package, which includes the strut bar.
The spoiler is only on the performance package which is why you have the black with white letter Brembos. The cars come with this tiny lip spoiler which that’s the one you can delete from factory. I opted for the performance because it completes the look of the rear.
The little light near the headlight is not a fog lamp light. There's a new regulation where it has to be a light that need to be seen at a 45° angle furthest away/opposite of the car...
^^^ I read that the reason for the regulation was to enable pedestrians to better see the front of the car if they're so close to the grill that they're about to become speedbumps. LOL - it was something to do with pedestrians, to be sure. LOL😂
Thanks, and yeah it had the performance pack and the Nite Pony Package. Sorry for not clarifying. The full specs is GT FASTBACK with performance pack and the Nite Pony Package.
It appears that part of the headlight is too high and angled to be a fog light. Is it meant to light up the opposing street corner for turning? I'm curious.
actually technically its a separate light in the grille, and you are sorta correct. due to headlights being so slanted back that light is to help see the DRL or the turn signal when activated. If you watch RTR's video installing their grille, there is a separate harness for these lights.
Yeah it’s just a matter of actually using the turn signal instead of the hazards, all Mustangs come equipped with front and rear sequential turn signals from factory, but the “approach lighting sequence” is only a feature on the premium trim levels
I bought a 6spd GT Premium, if you have rev matching on then when you down shift it will rev “match” to the correct RPM (I don’t know the specifics) but you have to push the clutch in as always to initiate the shift throw down.
The rev matching is so that you dont have to blip the throttle when youre downshifting to make a smooth downshift. Look up a youtube video on "how to rev match". its just making that a automated function.
By "base model," I think he meant "base model GT" cause it's not a GT premium. He is also very wrong, that spoiler is not stock, it's part of the performance package which is a $5000 option, you can tell by the wheels it has also.

@txworshipleader that's what I saw as well since the headlight is not the most forward part of the car these lights are required
Do the new mustangs have alarms for security?
8/11/2024 - The 300A package is not for the GT, it is for the base Mustang with 4-cyl engine. The GT packages are 400A and 401A.
Nice car, That looks like the performance version though. The base has a small spoiler, no active exhaust, and no drift brake.

My base model has sequential lights... yours should too

This is based GT on performance package
What rev matching do? You can row your gears without pressing the clutch?

@@Snipeyou1 Thx for the info buddy!

My 2024 GT with exhaust package has a push button parking brake....
Thank you 👍🏼
I’m 6’3 and fit in the backseat of the car
This is not a base model!

It sure isn't
Nice!
