Once upon a time here in Italy, the toyshops that used to sell Polistil (the original ones, not the chinese sequel) were furnished of spare pieces, today, if you don't go to a modelshop (which is more into serious slots) , I wouldn't be sure that a toyshop sells more than the set to put under the christmas tree. Is a combo that slots are no longer so popular between childrens and that this kind of items are usually bought on the Internet
I still haven't bought them, but I'm going to to use them on a Polistil track, greetings from Italy. Carrera Go! uses the same input of serious 1/32 slot tracks, about 10W, in order to get over loops and all thoose stunts. Polistil for kids had less power, about 4W, and that's why they did not have strange stunts. So, basically, if they could bear the power of a regular 10W slottrack, there's no reason why they couldn't work with less. A reason why I'm oriented to Carrera Go! is that, firstly are more distributed in Italy than Scalextric, second, if my Polistil trasformer would broke, I would buy a Ninco's and let the track run again. Are DC motor,s everything less works, maybe is problematic putting a 4W car in a 10W track
Some of my cars have no power on the loops. Why is that? I bought a new one, and no power on the loop. Even if I switch lanes and/or controllers. But my others do have power on the loops.
@@finn3163 thanks for your reply. The problem does not come from the controler since the car advances even when the controler is unplugged or when the other controler is plugged !

I have the same problem too on my F1 Red bull slot car, but my Ferrari slot car works. Did you change the brushes?

Hi why does one side of my track always have power going through it. Whether the controller is plugged in or took out.
There must be a short circuit. Probably in the controller port. Check and clean it first

Hello, for one of the two tracks, the car is advancing and never stops. How can i fix this problem ?
check the hand controller and take a close look at the boost button, it tends to stay closed,hence providing full power all the time

@@usernamefr maybe try a multimeter on the track to see if any current is flowing whilst the controller is unplugged and the car is offtrack
