Disney parks are a HUGE waste of money.
Pay to stand in line. Fun!
@HJAM-o6k
Exactly this, even with a pass track will still have to wait 20 mins.
I’ve been wondering when the public will wake up and STOP going. I have never been back 🤬
Cruise looks like the alternative
Fox News is a toxic person
I'm done with everything Disney, not just the parks.
Won’t be missed. I love Disney and I will gladly take your spot.
@@jdos5643 There's a sucker born every minute.
As a huge Disney fan (actually moved to Orlando to be closer) I was nervous about dropping the brand. But now that we haven't consumed anything Disney, merch, streaming, park tickets, nothing. Now that it's been a few years, we don't miss it at all.
@@jdos5643There are no spots. Take it all!😂
Only Rich people gets to play or stay there all Day. While the Middle Class just watch Ipad to see Disneyland
The problem is not just too expensive, it is too crowded all the time, always long lines 😅
If it's always crowded, that would signal peak operating capacity. Why continue to cram more people in an already overloaded venue?
thats like the old Yogi Berra saying, nobody goes to that restaurant anymore, its too crowded.
I took my 3 grandchildren and they hated all of the long lines. Even the oldest, mildest, kiddie rides had 20 minute lines. Never again.
Honestly there’s a hecka lot of people there spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars there per day. Who ARE these people? 😳
They can increase prices because it’s crowded
Stop paying ridiculous prices for anything so companies feel the pain
Agreed but the problem is most people won't do it.
With all the people not going yet Disney is still filthy rich
They aren't going broke
People would rather go to Disneyland then pay rent!!
@@andrewtesta5944 I know families that would be in debt just to go to Disney, not worth and it’s not fun .
Lol ... People will ALWAYS go to Disney
I’ll never understand the Disney obsession. I took my family 20 years ago, it was too expensive then and massively underwhelming. Any family can find a much better vacation destination for a lot less.
Rent an RV and go camping, but hot dogs, hamburgers etc. Magical around the lake and bonfire. 🙂
Like what? What’s better than world of pandora at animal kingdom? If you say the local kids park then you need to leave. 😂
@@danielsmith8773nah that’s boring compared to rollercoasters and dark rides and Disney parades.
🎯
I always take my mom on a vacation every year and we always visit a national park
This isn't just a money issue they went full woke, not family friendly for about 70% of us..
Go to Disney Springs....FREE PARKING!!!
@@Patrick-yh5yd. Honestly. I would like to go to Epcot one more time and I’ve never been to the Animal Kingdom so I’d like to do that, but fr Disney Springs is pretty much enough Disney for me 😂
By woke dod you mean they have wheelchair access?
Disney is always so crowded. The lines are ridiculous even with a fast pass. Disney is not cheap. You have to be in the top 20% of the population even to consider going to Disney. Nobody has to go to Disney. There’s always a local amusement park to take your kids to and have a fun day.
@@robertratz5305yeah but here in CO we don’t have any good amusement parks that are even 1/10th of what Disney world is. I don’t like Disney anymore but last time I was in World I thought it was cool compared to other places. Universal was also cool but the immersion is on its own level. Is it worth the price now that I’ve got a family? Nah. Will we go ever? Maybe but I’m not jumping at it
Disney is like viagra .. a hour wait for a 2 minute ride !

Disney isn’t worth paying $4200 for. Personally, I’d rather go camping with the kids. Disney has ruined their own reputation and raising prices doesn’t help things.
Lol, that's a lot of $ for something. What is bot anymore up to kids from nowadays 😮
$4200,I can go to carribean 10 times and enjoy there😂😂😂
@@Ryosuke-12no you can’t unless you sleep on the beach. That price is for a house, not an apartment or even a hotel. Stay off Disney property, take a bus in ( they leave from most hotels in the area) and the cost is reasonable for tickets.
BTW, I just love when millionaire talking heads try to relate to working class Amricans, they haven’t a clue.

Walt Disney would be shocked if he were alive today. The theme parks were supposed to be for the enjoyment of families. But raising the prices may just.put them out of business. How can they be overcrowded if the prices are so high that only the rich or foreigners can afford to go? God bless.
I thought they’ll go out of business with those long lines. Raising prices should in theory make less people want to go but 1% increase from already long lines is still 1% increase.
GREED. GREED. GREED.
If Walt were alive today, this wouldn't be happening. Walt wanted a place where average American parents could enjoy time with their children. The people that took over after Walt and Roy were gone had one thing in mind. Money.
Disney himself would stay up to date with the prices. He would be banking either way.
Yeah don't think so, As long as their Movie are good, Frozen, Moana, inside Out
As Canadians we decided to not go on our Disney trip in the fall. The pricing has gotten ridiculous, and we will take our business elsewhere.
Let's us Canadians spend our Canadian dollars in our own great country, lots to see and do here. 🇨🇦
They are far too greedy. People are fed up with Disney and will start looking for alternative vacation spot. I took my wife and daughter and it cost us $50 for 3 hot dogs, 2 bags of potato chips and 3 bottle of waters. That was 5 years ago.
Same as the theater prices so.......
Would probably be a solid 80 bucks now. 😫
Probably, for garbage food
You know why Disney raise the prices? Because there are tons of people who are still willing to pay those prices.
@tommyt264 true and they know that
They drove me away by being the Stupidest Place on Earth. They are keeping me away by being the most expensive stupid place on earth.
Plus, they hate me for how I voted, so why would I give them money?
@@mr.awesome6011 you’re pretty impressed with yourself if you think Disney knows or even cares how you voted.

@@francismarion6400Any good American would have tried to do that!
@Graupella You mean the groomers? Are you having thoughts about little kids too? You should call your local sheriff.
I will never spend another dollar at Disney. No Parks, cruises, movies, and no more Disney merchandise.
My eyes have opened to what Disney and their associates are since January 2020.
I lived in Orlando 30 years .I stayed away from Disney.
You act as if Disney is a dangerous ghetto. Grow up. It’s an expensive park because it has expensive entertainment. There that’s all you needed to say.
It had its golden years, those years are long past.
sounds like me, lived in Hawaii for over 30 years, stayed away from Waikiki.
I used to work there. Those people are so nasty behind the scenes to the employees. It’s literally sad.
BS
I took my two children to Disney world a couple decades ago. My daughter and son in law with three children planned to go two years ago and the price was over ten thousand for five days. I talked them out of it. I said it this way, your spending this much money to stand in line? Because I remember that when that daughter and her sister were there. The weather was very cold for the three days we stayed.
Bottom line, they decided to go to Denver skiing for five days, spent $5000 including airfare. They had a fabulous time. The other $5000 saved? It went for a swimming pool.
Plenty of National and State Parks to visit, forget Disney.
And much more beautiful. Wildlife is more entertainment aswell
It's not just Disney. These attractions want upper class clientele, so they're pricing themselves out of the budget of the working class.
I hope and pray that Disney keep putting up their prices , the sooner they go out of bussiness the better
Lol....Go out of business? Lol
Now that's funny!!!🤣🤣🤣…. They are SO busy that they just finished building a new hotel , and also just started a second one just a short drive away... They are still in VERY high demand and will NEVER go out of business
@BobBaker-v9v they are a bunch of liberals and everyone knows that liberals aren't the smartest people in the world so if they keep putting the prices up and up people will stop coming to Disney
I live on 2k and month. So that cost is OUTRAGEOUS
been there done that..
never again
For some of us, we're lucky to have memories of going to the parks when they actually WERE the Magic Kingdom instead of the magic rainbow.
Poor Walt, he's been spinning so much that his coffin liner is all tied in knots.
Great news! I hope they keep raising it so no one goes anymore.
That just means those that can afford will have less of a wait in line. And they will still have a lot of rich families going. So they don’t lose anything
imagine paying 200 for a day just to be in line majority of the day for KIDS RIDES. on top of that the over priced food, and merch. they increase the price because of the increase for minimum wage and because they know the "disney adults" will pay anything to act like a toddler at the park.
yes!
With that money, go on a cruise, what is Disney doing??? Disney are out of their mind
I’d rather pay a couple dollars and go To the city zoo
Men playing princesses, already high prices and 5 years of constantly pumping out 5h!t at the theaters hasn't helped anything either. Raising prices even more isn't going to cure anything.
Go back to making family friendly things and stop pushing the Rainbow Mafia agenda.
Men playing princess is nothing new. Ever seen dads doing it? Why someone at a park be any different….?
@jdos5643 A dad does it once maybe for his 4 yo daughter at home. A Disney employee does it to other people's children to desensitize them.
Disney is a tourist destination. It's not a free park. It's marketed to rich chinese, rich euros, rich other nation citizenzs. If Americans want to go then save and catch up! Don't complain because there's always a Chinese family that's willing to come and pay for a ticket entrance
Walt would be horrified to see what happened to his company!
That's very true! Walt Disney's politics were very conservative.
You mean they are making record profits? It’s capitalism. Nobody is forcing you to go.
But he would be happy DeSantis cut them down a few notches.
I don't think Walt was very good to the child actors after he was done with them. All money, greed & fakeness from the start. Walt could just hide it better.
@@IngefromGraz He was the one that desensitized America to witchcraft.
People willing to give Disney money should pay more.
I felt defeated when 5 of us went to disney last year. It was 10k for 2 parks, 2 days and 1 week stay in LA. We packed costco hotdogs, 7eleven pizzas, luncheables and PB and J sandwiches. Thiis year we're going camping, staying at a hotel in town, and then driving to the lake an hour away to spend the weekend. Disney announced the $400 fast passes, per person, per day, and i'm like nope...never again.
Nothing like pricing yourself out of business, can’t fix stupid.
I wouldn't go to Disney now if it was FREE. Wouldn't go if they paid me to either.
They are not after my money, I haven't been there since 2012. their going to hike the price on all the "Wokeies". The new Disney character that mole-st children steel kids to ship off to ep-stines island. I wouldn't bring any kid within a 100 miles of that place. Has nothing to do with the money.
Attendance at the parks are down for American citizens.
Yep
And they do not care one bit. If they can get the tourists to pump profits that’s all that matters. We have annual passes at universal and it’s mostly foreign people we have noticed.
My husband is a 20+ years Veteran of the United States Navy, we use to buy Disneyland tickets on the military base at a lower cost, now that dream is over. It cost to much to buy tickets for our family now. What a bunch of greedy corporate owners, they should take a pay cut to honor our veterans and active duty soldiers. They earned it!!!
Thank your husband for his service
Thank your husband for his service
never have gone, never have wanted to go, never will go.
I went once 40 years ago. Never again.
I agree.
Real men go to Six Flags!
My son and his family live in Japan. I just checked the rates at Tokyo Disney, and granted the exchange rate between yen and usd is favorable to the usd, but an adult ticket for adults is between $65 and $75 dollars. Even at Paris Disney, where the exchange rate between euros and usds is pretty even, an adult can get in for around $75. What message is Disney sending to Americans?
Who else wants to see Newsom resign immediately, gone for good, recalled, never seen again, investigated, prosecuted and imprisoned?”
Walt's vision was that his parks were supposed to be affordable for the average family. Disney has lost its way. This has nothing to do with inflation, it's pure corporate greed.
Disney is disgraceful. I remember when pretty much all Americans could afford go to Disney.
I cannot stand ANYTHING Disney stands for, so I am out! BEEN out for many years now....decades!
Good excuse, add in that many parents are sick of the crap they have been putting out in movies, shows and TV
There are no more guarantees. Soon you may go to one of those character breakfasts, have Cinderella turn around to say “Hi” to your kids, only to find it’s “Mr. Cinderella”!
Disney has been circling the bowl for years, getting a lot worse as time goes on
so you’ve been going for years? How else would you know? So, it was too expensive and you kept going? Slow learner, I guess.
Go woke, go broke Disney!!
Former Disney employees call it Working for The Rat.
Disneyland has become completely unattainable for the average working family! The prices are outrageous, and for what? A subpar, agenda-driven experience filled with broken-down attractions and overpriced, low-quality merchandise mass-produced in China? It’s just not worth it!
Long lines are bad enough, but when you finally get to a ride, there’s a good chance it’ll break down-what a waste of time and money. And don’t even get me started on the merchandise. It’s ridiculously expensive and nowhere near the quality Disney used to be known for.
The saddest part? Disneyland isn’t the same magical place most of us grew up with. Walt Disney would be heartbroken to see his dream turned into a corporate nightmare. He built Disneyland for families, making it affordable so that people from all walks of life could experience the magic of imagination and storytelling. Now, it’s all about squeezing every last dollar out of guests and pushing IPs instead of creating original, awe-inspiring attractions. The heart, the creativity, the fantasy-it’s all been replaced by corporate greed.
But after visiting Tokyo Disneyland, I realized how far Disney’s U.S. parks have fallen. Tokyo Disneyland, which isn’t even owned by the Walt Disney Company, delivers a far superior experience-better entertainment, top-notch attractions, and a nostalgic charm that Disney stateside has lost. Best of all, they refuse to tamper with their classics for the sake of "updates."
It’s crazy to think that in Japan, you can get a premium Disney experience at a fraction of the cost, while in the U.S., you’re paying thousands for a watered-down, broken, overpriced, agenda-filled version of what Disneyland used to be. Walt’s dream was for families to experience magic, not to be priced out of it. Sad!
That's not the only thing that's turning off people to Disney .
Disney is a mess. Literally wait all day, ride 2 maybe 3 rides.. the lightening pass is a shame. Let’s boycott!
Was an Annual pass holder for many many years, but no more.
What use to be free as a perk, now has a charge.......Disney has lost its Magic!!!!
They are NOT driving anyone away. Tourists WILL pay the $$
That's the least of the problems, Disney's "Fairy Tales" became literally that.
Long lines and three rides per visit not worth. Bye Disney
Back in 1998 it was only 30.00 ! I am so happy I went there back then.
They went woke. Their premium Disney+ sub now includes ads. Hard pass.
Havent been there since 2017.. dont miss it. Disney lost its magic. Ever since they got rid of Splash Mountain I decided to never go back.
Went there in the 80s and 90s as a kid. Now 43 with 2 kids. No way I'm bringing my kids to this place. Prices are ridiculous and the company went Woke. You lost me there. . Buh bye...
Yes it is way too much to visit these theme parks in Orlando. Wondering who can afford it?????
I went to Disneyland in Paris few years ago. Almost half of the attractions were out of order, queues were super long and the rides went for 45-50seconds, I actually checked with a watch. Place was obviously overcrowded and food overpriced. It's a disgrace how much they charge for a ticket.
I spent much less than this to go to another country with beach front fun and a great experience . I then still had a lot of money left over to vacation inside the US for the rest of the year. It is awesome, I recommend to go out and see the world and other cultures, it’s much cheaper and so much fun.
I'm not so sure about this... the new merchandise constantly sells out... all the special events sell out immediately and it's packed everyday and everyone there looks like they're on welfare! 🙄
Only wealthy people can afford it.
The rest of us are out of luck unless you want to go into hock!
They WAS ALREADY expensive .. to begin with.. I've never been but I heard that once you go, its not really all that enjoyable 😏 due to the overload of people there and some of the entertainment shows are boring.
DO NOT GO!
Why people are so obsessed with this park is beyond me. What’s even worse is that it’s adults that are more obsessed with it than kids. My parents took me once to Disneyland in the 90s and going back was never really brought up again.
Now that USAID isn't giving money away freely! lol
I've been a resident of florida since 1980.
The last time I went to disney was in 2007, Only because a visiting friend adamantly wanted to go.
I thought their prices were ridiculous then, Now add the mentality of the company and I'll never set foot there again in my life!
No matter how bad it ever gets, There will always be that group that drinks The Kool-Aid.
Much better places to go... AND those places don't hate America OR the customers. Defund Disney Hate!
The prices were already ridiculous... Hope this drives everyone away from their parks... 💥
I took the family once. We enjoyed it, but would never go back. Once was good enough for us.

I live 15 minutes from Disneyland. It’s always packed. There’s always enough people willing to play.
Honestly, I’d pay more to go if it meant that it’s less crowded.
people are so stupid. stop paying these loser companies so much money!
Disney is ridiculous anyway. I HAD to go there twice for my daughter because that's where they held national cheerleading competition.
Was that your last Hurrah ?
@AAA-o4g it was for my daughter. I'm an international traveler.
@ Send me a post card next time
No chance I would visit Disney. Their Wokeness and fleecing of America is over for most of us.
Those Disney executives who went fully "woke," should at the least, be locked into a small room for 24 hours, with "It's a Small World" on a constant loop.
I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
Time for the House of Mouse to become history.
The prices at the parks are just part of the problem. I took a weekday off from work to go to Disneyland (CA) with a friend of mine. The lines weren't too bad. But a handful of rides were closed for refurbishing, or whatever. Four other rides broke down during the day that I was there; one broke twice. And they were closing early for a private couples event. So what's the sense of paying high prices when rides are breaking down and you have to leave early? The last ride that we tried to get on but it was broken was Space Mountain. They said it would take about an hour to fix...I couldn't wait an hour because I would have been kicked out of the park by then. What's "happiest" about that?
Same with skiing/snowboarding….used to be an annual family trip, but once Vail bought out most of the major resorts, the daily lift tickets jumped to $300 a day! Lodging too. Just can’t do it anymore.
Become millionaire or get out of the way.
$25 hamburgers
Several years ago my friend that had 5 kids asked them if they would rather have presents at Christmas Day or go to Disneyland on Christmas Day. All the kids asked to go to Disneyland. She said it was so crowded that all of her kids started CRYING at Disneyland on Christmas Day. What a ridiculous waste of time and money.
How long till we look elsewhere??? I’m 43 yrs old and I’ve been looking elsewhere for years! Unafordable and no way to justify spending that kind of money.
Haven't they done this same story like 8 years in a row?
Take your kids camping.
👍 Much better choice!
Or take them to the Zoo let them see some nature
But their attendance is still up year over year. Americans AREN’T staying away at all. I don’t blame Disney for hiking prices. Until that green ‘up’ arrow turns into a red ‘down’ arrow, they’ll keep doing it.
JUST LIKE TOYOTA, SELL LESS CARS AT A HIGHER PRICE,
TRY TO FIND A NEW SIENNA FOR UNDER 53K!
You know why the prices keep rising, don't you? It's the reason ALL corporations hike their prices. Each year, the CEO and board of directors have a fiduciary responsibility to make their shareholders MORE money than the previous year. This is the sole reason companies lay their workers off, look for ways to cut costs, hike product prices, reduce quality of said products, never give their employees raises, or any other negative effect. Increasing shareholder profit is their number one goal each year.
Now, how do we fix this? We have to reset and alter the business rules of all the corporations.
I’m picking Knotts Berry Farm over Disneyland
I don't think inflation and high prices are Disney's only problem.
Disney is overrated people don't waste your time and money go spend it on a nice vacation in St Augustine Florida
lol yes
We where just planning on going for 3 days one day at Epcot and one day at Hollywood
2800… and that’s still just taking a day off at the hotel
She sounds vaccinated, who's still taking their kids to disney?
Disney remains consistent, milking wallets and calling it magic ✨
Who the hell would want to go 4 days straight? Not me!
It’s their politics far more than the price that prevent me from spending a dime on any Disney product.
I could see the host’s eyes fall out of her head, after all was said, thinking Disney still has some kind of magical appeal. Fugetaboutit. Disney went dark. It’s evil. No redeeming value. The Disney board of directors should ALL be fired. The decline started in 2018. That was the last year worth going. No more. Don’t go. Don’t go. Don’t go.
AMEN!!!
Don't kid yourself, Disney was always about witchcraft.
Disney should think about the millions of kids that will never experience Disney World, because the prices are so high, moms and Dads just can’t afford it,,,
