"For Good" Tribute to John Spencer (Minor Edits)

- Made in tribute to John Spencer, who played White House Chief of Staff Leo McGarry on The West Wing. I was trying to capture the bittersweet aspect of his death as portrayed on the show, where his character died on the eve of an election night that turned into victory for his presidential candidate's campaign.
Kristin Chenoweth, Spencer's friend and West Wing costar, reportedly sang "For Good" at his funeral.

I want to offer my Heartfelt THANKS, to the whoever put this "The West Wing" tribute to the passing of Mr. John Spencer, and the character he played, Mr. Leo McGarry
This particular video "totally squeezes my heart", every time I watch it.
It's truly hard to learn that a good life, ends so soon.
I wonder, of any actor, that learned of Mr. John Spencer's 'passing', would say to themselves, Now THAT'S a fitting 'end' for an Actor!
Beautiful tribute to John & Leo. I cried when I heard he'd died. I cried when I watched the show. I cried when I watched this tribute.
I remember seeing John in NYC, a play called "GLIMMER. GLIMMER and SHINE.." He was simply wonderful. At one point he comes down front stage, in a hospital gown, barefoot. I couldn't stop looking at his cute feet..bless you John. For your craft, your warm heart, your kindness which everyone spoke of . And those rewarding years as a sober recovering alcoholic, which many did NOT know...
"Thanks, boss" always gets me, every time I watch this episode.

VERY VERY good video! great work. really captured it. and Kristin did sing for good at his funeral. she said so in an interview not long after.
It was tough, very tough to loose John...he was simply perfect in this role.
Read Kristins book about the Jolly Ranchers...this looked so real...because it was.
