SARAJEVO hike # 3 We hiked the abandoned Bobsled track in Sarajevo 🤩

Remember when Sarajevo hosted the 1984 winter Olympics? Since then the abandoned bobsled track has become a very cool and unique hiking trail with colorful graffiti and overgrown with moss and vines.
Most people take the cable car up but we hiked up from the town center. We used the Wikiloc app to find this loop route.

We started from the city centre. You follow the street very steeply up until you run out of road and it turns into a nice rocky trail.
Nice stop half way up to stop at some ruined buildings.
Continue till you reach the bottom of the bobsled track.
We walked up the main track. Amazing graffiti. And just very cool walking on an abandoned track.
On the way back down there are a few side pieces of bobsled track we explored.
Once you reach the road you follow the road back down through the houses. This section is mostly on small local roads. With a few pedestrian only very steep stairways.
