Convert Louis Vuitton Papillon to crossbody using organizer

Here’s a hack I did to convert my Louis Vuitton Papillon to a crossbody.
1) Step one purchase the organizer I linked below.
2) Purchase a grommet kit.
3) Punch a hole into the middle insert of the organizer - one on each side.
4) Attach a thin chain is best

Would it look weird if you attach the strap on the rings of the original straps? Im thinking of purchasing a papillon and styling it that way but not sure on how weird it would look...

I think that would be ok too, but it will tug weirdly on the chap rings and might stretch your leather in that area. Also if your bag is heavy I don' t know, but I heard of cases where it can rip (some folks had that happen to their regular Speedy when they attached it directly to the chap rings). Maybe if you don't carry much and it's light you will be fine? I didn't want to take that chance since it's a limited edition bag and I can't get it repaired.
