The Season Nexus is a medium/soft flexing, mostly camber all mountain board that does a pretty good job all around.

How was the fit and finish? The main thing I've heard against Season is manufacturing sloppiness.
I didn't notice anything major that made it look cheap or not finished nicely, though it also was a demo board (so no one is particularly nice/gentle to them).
Korua OTTO or Season NEXUS ???
Nexus, better shape and lighter overall
What helmet are you rocking this year?
It's the Blak Park hemet - www.blakheadwear.com/collections/helmet
Is it good for an intermediate rider?
Do you mind sharing your stance width and stance ankles?
Also, how does this board rides switch?
My stance angles would have been +12 / -9, with a width of around 21 or so inches. Switch was fine, it does have a bit of a different feel to get used to with the small amount of taper, but wasn't a big deal.
Hi, I’m looking for a new daily driver. But I can’t decide between the Nexus, Korua Otto and Vimana the continental directional. I think you did not ride the Vimana yet, right? But between the Otto and the Nexus, which one do you prefer?
I haven't been on the Vimana so I don't know about that one. The Nexus is going to be way more friendly than the Otto. The Otto is a big step stiffer, and heavier, so it will take much more work to get the most out of it. I would choose the Nexus, it is easy to ride but still capable. The reason I wouldn't choose the Otto, even though it has the solid and more aggressive feel, but without the shapes and taper that make the rest of the Korua boards so good.
Thank you for your advice!
Looking at this or the capita navigator for all mountain board, going from semi icy to powder conditions. What would make you choose one over the other?
There is only some tiny differences between those two, and they probably aren't even noticeable when riding. I would just go for whichever you like the look of, or has the better price. Flex, camber, base material and overall weight are super similar.
@@SnowboardRobot Sounds good! Do you know if there were any major changes from 2021 to 2023 season Nexus? Can only find 2021 in my size (155cm)
He lockie, What made you change up to the cartel x? Did you find the regular cartels a bit soft in the high back, especially the lateral flex?
I have one pair of the older stiff cartels which were my main binding to test boards on, before they made them cheaper and softer and added the cartel X. The cartel X rides exactly the same as the old good cartels, though I haven't been on the new regular cartels which are basically missions now anyway (in terms of plastic blend mix in the baseplate). So no real reason for me to be on the cartel X, it's just a new second set for me.
@@SnowboardRobot i have the 2020 cartel and Andreas does a good summation of what you said. I still find the high back a bit meh! Its a bit wishy laterally so might go to union atlas.
What angles do you have your bindings on
Normally +12 -9, with a bit narrower stance than recommended
I recommend trying out the k2 excavator at least once this season.
It's right up there on my list, but I think I'll have to wait until next Aus season to ride some new stuff
whar ry filming this on? looks good
Thanks! It is a GoPro 9 on a pole, 4k 4:3 with hypersmooth and then I run the whole thing through Gyroflow to make it even more stable and level the horizon.
