That's quite an episode. I feel sorry for William, he had suffered under Hartworth's lack of care for 46 years but at least he's now having a new happy life thanks to his old friend, Oliver. I'm not saying the goof since I also found it.
My guess is that John Hartworth at first wanted Willaim, but was just too lazy and cheep to take good care of him. Also he seemed to be possessive like the "If I can't have you, no one can" type. Also I spotted the season 18 goof.
Very nice work. This is certainly the most thought-provoking episode I've seen from the Sodor horror genre, not just from you, but from any writer. The revelation made me think while the buildup was the perfect captivation, adding just the right air of mystery with a deeper secret. Well done.
Ha, nice reference! :P. William is a really interesting character, and it's actually fantastic that so many things can be done with him, which both of our stories have proved. An excellent episode. It's seriously one of the best spooky episodes I've seen since Ghost Train
Last year I saw your 'The Forgotten Legend' episode when it first came up. When I saw this I re watched it, and I must say you have came a long way in only a year! I say congratulations on your part. Happy Halloween!
You've done it again, NWR1991. I expected a ghost story that would send shivers down my spine. Instead, it's about an engine confronting the ghost of someone from their past. I did not see that coming and when I saw this story, I couldn't stop watching it until it played through. Also, nice backstory for William. Keep it up, and Happy Halloween!
Quite an interesting story. I am quite impressed with the backstory as it was certainly well thought out ; I suppose the only thing that really does somewhat let it down is how easy it was for William to deal with the ghost in the end; I've seen this sorta thing quite a bit in other ghost stories but then to be fair there's only so much that can be done with a ghost haunting an engine but nevertheless it was great overall. Oh and I really loved that shot @9:35. Really splendid to see the overlapping bridges from that angle :)
Yeah I know how the confront ghost scene is the usual thing, but I don't know any other way for someone to confront a ghost and I don't want to repeat last years story too :P
SodorRailway3DFilms I meant I wrote S18 in the description, the person was saying two goofs, while I've stated it's from S18, I wouldn't mind if wrote for the actual series, but I don't know too much about writing, but i'm learning.
now this is what i call a Halloween special of MY liking it has some scary but not to much but not to little for it just to be a regular episode of happiness just right and great job
That was incredible. It had me thinking of 'The Runaway' in some parts. I enjoyed this and William looks like a great character. If I'm not mistaken, it looks like you've used Arthur's faces for William :).
One question... Can Thomas and everyone else drive themselves? I know "Thomas comes to breakfast" kind of answers that but it seems with the series now on tv they don't need drivers? Since they seem to do whatever they want on the series nowa days without human help at all.
The crews are there in cabs and all, though they're more the hands. But the engine are pretty much the stars of the show and one driver had actually talked to Gator in 'Long Lost Friend'
Don't have 2006, that version is out of date with the models that SI3D and other Thomas Trainz developers are releasing now. I suggest getting Trainz 2012
William ran away from the mainland by his (now) former owner because of his money troubles, the owner, and he doesn't want any of his stuff taken away and so he decided to crash him instead but he ended up taking his own life away. William thought that since he was saved he would be happy but he was neglected by his owner. I can see why it can be confusing so I hope this clears things up.
Another amazing episode, I hope the show can start reaching the season 5 standards of their spooky episodes again. And I've been wanting to ask you, What if HIT asked if they could adapt some of your stories.
Doubt that, the official series was never suppose to be edgy, yes there were darker stories in the RWS such as 'Enterprising Engines' but that was during the time of what was happening during BR, so at least there's a reason. S5 was filled with over the top action that's never meant to be in the show in the first place. As of HIT using my stories, I don't mind if they don't ask me, I don't own the official copyright to their brand.
Wow! You always impress me! I loved the goof, hats off to you. Was this story at all based on Jinxed from TUGS? Anyway happy Halloween and keep up the good work!
nope willam and artur are diffrent engines willam is older because he was bulit years before britsh railways was made plus willam is great western arfur was bulit durning brititsh railways and was owed by the LONDON AND MIDLAND RAILWAY
just one nit pic question, why dose he have what sounds like a Scottish engine when he is a Great Western engine? A western or welsh accent might have been more appropriate. No disrespect tho,

Excellent ghost story! I love William's introduction.

It's James and the SKR coaches. Nice work and very thought out in my opinion

one of your best episodes
I very much agree it's in my favorites playlist
Yeah
Lol! James pulling those Skarloey Coaches XP
Also great episode, as always!
Your stories keep me coming back for more
I think I've found a problem with William's model. His head lamp is floating in front of his funnel. In shots from the side, you can see a gap.
Well that's how it turned out, I would ask WildNorWerster3D
I would more grateful that I'm alive than missing my stop!

@@NWR1991 What happened to John Harworth?
@ajzorn123 it’s literally stated in the episode
James pulling narrow gauge coaches
Very intriguing. Another Great Western engine escaping from the scrapyard! Unbelievable! Keep it up man, excellent storytelling.
+Robby Rowley He didn't escape scarp, he was hijacked by his old owner due to taxation, that was the whole story.
Oh yeah, I forgot.
NWR1991 the nerve of some people. He reminds me of Hans!
Who's Hans?
Robert Rowley a prince. From the movie frozen who in that movie betrayed her and tried to kill her sister
poor William
Wow I'm Impressed. I was so fond of William I took a sharpie and made my Tomy Whiff into a Tomy William
Arthur would have fit better for the role imo
James with SKR coaches and Rosie hauling a freight train with no Brakevan.
I wrote S18, so Rosie and the brake van is out of the question, besides I was making Rosie shunt, but I was controlling William instead, I think.
NWR1991 Just to clarify, you wrote S18 of the Thomas and Friends series?
SodorRailway3DFilms I meant I wrote S18 in the description, the person was saying two goofs, while I've stated it's from S18, I wouldn't mind if wrote for the actual series, but I don't know too much about writing, but i'm learning.
NWR1991 Learning? You have a talent for this! An art it is. And you use it wonderfully!
great work mate
your one of my favorite thomas trainz episodes maker besides Thomas1Edward2Henry3
I saw the goof. At 6"50 James is taking narrow gauge coaches like in Duncan And The Grumpy Passenger:) But still great work!
Great video love the fact it's mainly GWR themed.
That was one mysterious episode and just in time for Halloween! And btw, I spotted the goof. But I'm not telling! ;)
Me too what's the episode name it was in
now this is what i call a Halloween special of MY liking it has some scary but not to much but not to little for it just to be a regular episode of happiness just right and great job

CraneProductions27 wildnorwestern made william
1 year late, but spotted the goof
Brilliant Episode NWR1991
Great episode! I don't know if this is a fail or not, but at around 8:11, I see smoke but not William.
One question... Can Thomas and everyone else drive themselves? I know "Thomas comes to breakfast" kind of answers that but it seems with the series now on tv they don't need drivers? Since they seem to do whatever they want on the series nowa days without human help at all.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.
Dark and beautiful
One Track Mind,I agree
Aw this was the BEST keep it up
I didn't see the goof....
***** where was that?
***** AH there it is!
+Kanefan701 When's the new special coming out?
6:50 James with narrow gauge coaches.
I like the story, but can any of you tell me how to get thomas or his friends on trainz 2006, it would be a great help. Thanks.
Don't have 2006, that version is out of date with the models that SI3D and other Thomas Trainz developers are releasing now. I suggest getting Trainz 2012
..... Is it Narrow Gauge Coaches? O.o
*ding ding ding* WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
Suhweet! ... Now that you mention it, I now notice it in s18. O.O I would never have thought about that! xD
Bradley Duncan what episode
amazing video i really love this one and is william a large prarie or just a paire tank????
Your episodes are quite the only honourable CGI films I have ever seen on UA-cam, the others are foul and shouldn’t be legal.
I don't think I understood both the entire plot of this story, and William's backstory at 11:38. How did it go?
William ran away from the mainland by his (now) former owner because of his money troubles, the owner, and he doesn't want any of his stuff taken away and so he decided to crash him instead but he ended up taking his own life away. William thought that since he was saved he would be happy but he was neglected by his owner. I can see why it can be confusing so I hope this clears things up.
+NWR1991 When William was telling his backstory, I couldn't understand what he was saying.
Timothy Torres basically he was bought by a man and was locked up in a shed for years
Another amazing episode, I hope the show can start reaching the season 5 standards of their spooky episodes again. And I've been wanting to ask you, What if HIT asked if they could adapt some of your stories.

So you don't like season 5.
Not a fan of it. Plus there were many errors in its stories (e.g - The abandoned line that Oliver went on, Bertram's existence)
How did you get that oliver?
LOL that is my brothers name
I've noticed emily in most of your videos as cameos, I'm surprised you haven't used her for any speaking parts. Also what was the S18 goof?
Watch NWR Tales S3 Ep.22: Trespasser
I saw the goof.
Ooh, this was a pretty good story. Btw, which of the 42XX, 52XX & 62XX class is William?
61XX, according to WNWR3D
ok then, thanks
NWR1991 WNWR3D?
And can someone give me more back-story here?
About William I mean.
WildNorWester3D and pretty much all of William's backstory is explained nearing the end of his bad ownership.
Yes I know he's a prarie tank I was asking which varient
whats the song at 3:00
Once again, brilliant work! Is this the end of Season 3?
I have four more episodes coming, I have the sequel to 'Farewell Old Friend' I did back in September.
NWR1991 Oh! That ought to be interesting. Will be looking forward to it. :)
0:53 to 1:51 what is the music sound effect called?
Chakri Jones Moni Prak and Friends It's by Kevin Macleod from Incompetech.com, titled "Reign Supreme".
Wow! You always impress me! I loved the goof, hats off to you. Was this story at all based on Jinxed from TUGS? Anyway happy Halloween and keep up the good work!
While I was writing the story the thought of it came up.
Great video, turns a year old today. Also is William the same kind of engine as Arthur?
nope willam and artur are diffrent engines willam is older because he was bulit years before britsh railways was made plus willam is great western arfur was bulit durning brititsh railways and was owed by the LONDON AND MIDLAND RAILWAY
Grammar and no arthur isn't Arthur is actually London Midland And Scottish railway William is a 61xx
MrMLGBunnyOnWeed oh ok
MrMLGBunnyOnWeed Arthur is from the LMS not an LMS and Arthur's class is an Ivatt 2 MT 2-6-2 T engine
yeah i sort of forgot the class ._.
this is beter great
just one nit pic question, why dose he have what sounds like a Scottish engine when he is a Great Western engine? A western or welsh accent might have been more appropriate. No disrespect tho,
It is a welsh accent
its just when you say "I dunno sir" it sound like Scottish.
Well maybe the accent could do with a bit of improvement.
Title is spelt as "Willaim", Please do fix.
Already fixed, thanks.
No problem!
