I Want to pull the trigger; but, yours reviews for these always seems to push the 1000xm3 and the xb900n ahead. Also it sounds like you are saying these as colorful as the 1000xm3 except for the bass ? oh wow really?, im the total opposite. The logo is too white and can be seen, and the textured design on the pads is ugly imo. I like the esthetic cleaner look on the xm3 with the faded logo and plain cups.

The problem started when I compared them to a few of my IEMs and to Sennheiser 6xxs, for me instrument separation stopped working at 4+ instruments, the soudstage was poor and I was not engaged with the music at all. The more I listened the more I disliked the Sony's. Returned them and ordered AKG N700ncm2... Still great fit, medium ANC, rather poor app, shorter list of codecs but the sound is there. At the end of the day these are headphones and they are for listening!
How is the mic on your AKG's? I returned a pair of wireless AKG N60nc's because the mic and ambient noise filtering was not good compared to my Soundcore Bluetooth earbuds. I really wanted to like them, I have a pair of 1st gen wired N60nc's that are my go-to headphones for long (12 - 15hr) flights. @@GYMCADDY Thats a good point but a very old audio technica m50x can beat lots of headphones in its price range so i was wondering about sound quality of h.ear On 2 as compare to h.ear on 3, is on 3 really worth the upgrade or someone should shell out more and go for good old reliable sony wh-1000x m3.
I got rid of my h.ear on 2 for a 3. I found the sound quality not much different but ANC slightly better for the 3. I regret this decision because the 3 is about unusable as a headset outdoors. The mic picks up so many background noises and wind. The audio I hear is also filled with amplified ambient noise as well. I have not figured out a setting that fixes this. The 2 did not have this issue. I also found the 2 construction to be higher quality due to its beefier feel and bulkier head band. The slick plastic body will age better than the rubberized 3 body. That rubberized stuff always turns sticky after a few years. MicroUSB doesn’t bother me at all either.
These have a “feature” called sidetone. It sucks. It adds your voice and ambient noise to your headset when on a call. If you’re in a noisy environment it’s worse than no noise cancellation. The wh-h900 doesn’t have this. Its sound quality is comparable, and the ANC is just barely perceptibly worse.
@@ilpatongi That would make me very happy. But I have updated the firmware several times, and there are no new updates. Same annoying sidetone with no option to turn off that I can see. I've even contacted Sony about it.

The XB900n has more bass then the XM3's, so thats why they exist to please bassheads. The H910N isn't in any aspect better than the XM3 so thats why I dont understand why they exist. Its just like 40$ difference for less bass and less noise cancelling compared to the XM3.

@@sukritthapar5920 when you buy, write a review? :) Yes, I looked at the GYMCADDY review, but I need more opinions.
Waiting for this comparison, but i was wondering how is h.ear on 3 compared to good h.ear on2 as h.ear on2 price way cheaper right now.
meh I wouldn't consider the H.ear On 2's cause they have an extremely bulky design thats very 2016 and they're also using micro usb for charging.
But how do these compare to the wh-h900n?
These have a “feature” called sidetone. It sucks. It adds your voice and ambient noise to your headset when on a call. If you’re in a noisy environment it’s worse than no noise cancellation. The wh-h900 doesn’t have this. Its sound quality is comparable, and the ANC is just barely perceptibly worse.
@@bt5252 the sidetone sounds similar to what the Sennheiser HD4.40 has as well. Thanks for the feedback.
@@bt5252 They actually did, apparently you've never updated their firmware
@@ilpatongi That would make me very happy. But I have updated the firmware several times, and there are no new updates. Same annoying sidetone with no option to turn off that I can see. I've even contacted Sony about it.
@@bt5252 You didn't get what I meant, the 2s have the same thing.
I actually find it quite useful
they go on eBay new for ONE HUNDRED. That is such a great bargain!!!
I waited a lot for xm4, now went for msr7b wired.
I just bought it for 140 dollars in India on sale, first impressions pretty much a baby xm3
I was also checking it out on flipkart but I heard the bass is low. Confused between Skullcandy hesh ANC and this one
I just picked these up at Costco for $139. They’re comfy, but not very glasses friendly in my experience.
Two Sennheiser Momentums are conspicuous in their presence on your table !
Sony wh-h900n or wh-h9010n... Which is better??

@@bt5252 Thank you
The microphone on the 1000XM3s sounds like you are speaking underwater.
so we can use it underwater...
Please review the razer opus headphones
I will, but right now im very busy with other products
Got these for $99 at Costco today!
The hear on is perfect. Xb900 bass is too boomy and boring. Only realised how much better bass can sound once i got my crusher evo and ANC. Then there is the magnitude.
I think these are directly competing with the surface headphone 2. The later has superior ANC and the former has superior sound quality.
They do have multi device support
Im missing the clap test rn
Got these for 99 dollars and 97 cents at Costco few days ago.
140 at cotsco right now
I'm not really sure why XB900N exist. They look cheap and are all about bass. H910N look way much better
The XB900n has more bass then the XM3's, so thats why they exist to please bassheads. The H910N isn't in any aspect better than the XM3 so thats why I dont understand why they exist. Its just like 40$ difference for less bass and less noise cancelling compared to the XM3.
@@noway4238 i feel so too....i mean the price difference between these and the much much better xm3s are too less when they go on sale which kinda occurs very oftenly
Gud day to all anywhere in the world.. i whant you to know that this headphone is good only to listen to music but my experience it's so bad using voice call that's my experience.. the ambient noise is so loud that you can hear everything and anything around even the one you call. There's no noise cancellation of ambient sound when you used it for voice call but instead it realy multiply all ambient sound that so bad to you and to the one whom you call.. i hope sony include that function.. for me using headphone for music and voice call i will recomend beats headphone.. it's my regrets to buy this one.what a waste of money.. there's no active noise cancellation when you used it on voice call
Sir which has better cancellation hear on 2 vs XB
I found the hear on 3s for 60 refurbished
I really love those earpads
$150 @ Costco till the end of August
i got this at costco for $99
Me too
Hesh AnC vs Sony Wh 910N ? Which one to get for similar price
7:45 :)
I just ordert these watching with jbl headphones for kids
When will sony realizes that 95% of people used under 100$ headphone & make one
I don't think so, people now are trying to purchase middle range headphones, and it's a great deal for Sony, they don't gonna change that... At least for now
If the xm3s are balanced, this review isn’t trustworthy
He clearly said "balanced with emphasis on mids" which is true, plus, everyone's ears are different.
Kind of a nonsense comment
@@ilpatongi then he might need to get his hands on some trustworthy database and learn to read frequency response graphs. If he hears differently, that is
@@xuananle2466 The XM3 is much more balanced than this is. It's just his opinion.
300 bucks and a bag
очень круто, соратник
New sony speaker line up
bro you have to factor in the other colors man. That's its main selling point.
if that's the main selling point that's kinda sad and not like Sony
mateitheman bro the price isnt even good. The point is its mainly advertised for people who are focused more on how it looks than performance. Get mx3s if you want performance
25mm driver? Nah too small for my ears.
Which means absolutely nothing and it's something you can't judge or have any opinion for if you don't listen to them first.
There's not much difference on the sound quality between small and large drivers, it depends on how they made those drivers
just to say, the sony app cucked me 2 pairs of wh-1000mx3
never download that shit.
