same kind of experience. my smalls server has almost only cheater tribes or tribes that were allied to the cheaters. cutting windows did not do anything. "fixed an exploit" is not doing stuff. updates, battleye, all not doing sh*t. the only thing that would fix literally EVERYTHING is a Dev Support. Live dev support with a dev discord for tickets inspired by the classic/conquest model from ASE would be my favorite. but Wildcard does not do it..
They could even enlist the help of the community. I know TONS of people that would be willing to sign a contract to work for WC for free to work on an enforcement team. All it would take would be for them to set up a system where if one of these contracted players makes a ban, all the information is logged and is available for review by the rest of the contracted players. That way if someone makes a false ban it can be reviewed by others and reversed. Too many false bans by one player and they lose their contract and are off the enforcement team
They also need to start utilizing hwid/IP bans. One of the biggest problems in ASE was that people didn't care if they got banned because new accounts were either extremely cheap or even free depending on your platform and where you were getting your accounts. I've met soany cheaters in one of the trade discords I'm in that openly brag about how they have been globalled 20+ times.
Sure there are hwid and ip spoofers but they're not very common and that extra layer would stop at least a good strong portion of the repeat offenders
@@hankhasemeier6887 You can literally google hwid/ip spoofers and get the for dog cheap. You saying they aren't common actually shows you know very little.
The only people those are stopping are the actual children who are still awful even when using cheats.
People keep spoofing argentina nonsense too, and buying the game for dirt cheap beacuse of it. Server I was on had an entire Turk tribe that bought the game like 15 times because of said cheapness, so that they could cheat to their heart's content.
Plus they ported over their dogshit code from ASE, and never cleaned it up. SO fat chance of them doing ANY method that would help solve the cheating issues. I find myself hoping ark 2 fails after the travesty of ASA on top of the countless lies.

Console servers are the one of the best things they’ve done in while for this game. Like 60 servers all high pop, 0 cheats. Super refreshing
trust me i would also like to play without cheaters but not on 20 fps

Yeah it’s pretty awesome, but in my opinion the whole artifact issue for boss fights is pretty frustrating. My tribe owns all of 8004, every artifact cave, and nobody is playing on it anymore because they can’t get tek. I feel like the bosses should just be tributes so everyone can get tek there would be more PVP.

The worst part about it is that it's not only his server, and it doesn't happen because he's a UA-camr; it's close to EVERY server I've played on. Hackers, meshers, cheaters, and teamers-the sad thing is, some of them don't even get banned; they just get dev-wiped, and after that, they come back and laugh about it in global chat. My last report was about a glitch that has existed for more than 3 years. I also reported this glitch, anyone can easily raid a Pearl cave, with this glitch. We were wiped with this glitch and what did the GM do? Right, they only killed the last dino that was left in the mesh, and the mesher is still playing without punishment.
I'm'm sorry so to hear this, I will get congress involved and we will launch a formal invitation. We will report back here when we are done. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

We have mobilized local law enforcement and new outlets. Currently there is a bill on the presidents table for signature. Once this bill gets passed we will get some answers.

bro im so livid cuz for a nearly 50$ price point for the REMASTER you would think that 30 extra bucks per copy coulda gone to hiring actual enforcement. the ticket system is as old as it is dated and i just dont understand why yall let wildcard get away with this. i havent bought it yet cuz I KNEW this was gonna happen, it was bound lmao
Felt this vid tonight... Got foundation wiped after a month's worth of progress, by two nakeds... CHinese of course, IDK why they don't let them just not connect to servers outside of china
I don't understand why they keep using battleye it's a worthless anti-cheat that's never stopped anyone. I also like how they turned off movement speed levels to make the game more "balanced" but all it ended up doing was make more speed hackers and leaving everyone else more vulnerable. battleye is very strong now. almost no public cheats are undetected. its just wildcard being lazy and not patching the cheat exploits
Battle Eye is fine. It's how it is implemented that is the overall issue.
And the fact it does banwaves (which are good), but leave you open to the issues at hand before said banwave.
I got hit on one server by a speedhack titan. If you pay attention to the movement itself, it's literally like they typed in gcm command on the dino like you can in sp and then double jump for the super fast fly speed lol
My gut tells me wildcard makes money from the hacks. thats why it will never get "Fixed" its a big part of their income im sure.
Truly an amazing game with amazing potential. I truly think ark could be the biggest game right now if they tackled the hackers like some other games. This company is purely in it for profits. They don’t care about the player experience. If the hacker problem isn’t nipped in the butt on day of release for ARK 2 I will be very disappointed.
Ark 2 gonna be lit and not broken at all like these games trust me bro I just have a feeling just hold out to Ark 2 it will get better I promise 🤣🤣🤣

I refuse to play this game with that many people using cheats. I’ve already lost two bases to hackers on official. Such a waste of time. This game had so potential but the devs can’t do their job properly.

A lot of people were aim off speed hacked argies on one of my servers with tranqs so you couldn’t see who did it

My thoughts.. wildcard subcontracts these hackers to build up get resources and base locations locked and then sells it all on eBay. They seem like the dirty type to be in on that..
Definitely not... ruining their game is not profitable.
I recomend you to go to unofficial server with same rates like official that have admins and discord. For we it works like for 2 years no cheater spotted

My friends on console use the moding tools to use speed hacks etc i found less hacker's on private servers like elite and arkwarfare which are crossplay.

Problems wrong with ASA: fog,clouds, spawn rate, grass height, cryos gonna be trash, water Dinos suck at biting (sarco for example)

After playing ark pvp since 2016 I officially quit because of how bad this game is for official pvp, hackers, cheaters, small tribes 6 man groups account sharing with a dozen players it's just completely futile to keep playing it anymore unless stuff changes
When you sell the cheats you don't stop the cheats.

Also also -- There's no way they don't do a full wipe eventually. The amount of tribes who hard duped/ got ahead with this insane amount of cheating will never stand.
I mean that also means them actually fixing the issue, but I feel like if they don't showcase they can actually fix the issues with cheating to this extent, Ark 2 is dead in the water regardless of if it launches or gets the axe.
The cheats that took years to become so prevalent in ark in the final couple years should NOT be in ASA on launch.
Talked with one cheater out of curiosity, and he said the cheats he used for ASE worked for ASA, the ONLY THING that needed to be changed was the bypass code/line to make the cheats work. Nothing else.
So they 100% ported over the code and didn't clean it up like they said they would. They fed us lies and we ate it up
If you played ASE for any extended period of time then you would know they absolutely will not full wipe ASA. It took MAJOR cheating catastrophes in ASE for them to even consider a 1 week roll back.
The easiest/most recent event to reference was the account spoofing incident. If you don't know what this was here's a brief explanation. People found out that you could spoof the account of another player before you logged in and when you did log in you would be logged into their character. Then you could do whatever you want with their tribe. So basically all tribe leaders got their accounts spoofed then the cheater would kick everyone from the tribe and demolish all the generators and wipe the base.
Once this became a public exploit it ran RAMPANT for like 3 weeks and wildcard took almost an entire week to decide that a rollback was necessary and they only rolled back one week.
Ok yeah this is different than duping I get that. A wipe wouldn't fix that issue, only a rollback would but if they were willing to wipe ASA at all then they would have done it on day 2 after people found out that you could literally type "enable cheats" into the console and it worked. Then they started using gcm to spawn in whatever they wanted. That got patched real quick and should have been followed with a wipe but WC is terrified of wipes.
@@hankhasemeier6887 Before/at launch they literally already stated a fullwipe at any point isn't out of the cards, so you're flat wrong. They'll most likely leave servers in the state they are until it comes out of "ea".
They did the same with legacy servers on ASE.

Wildcard/Snail Games needs to dedicate a whole team that just deals with cheaters but I doubt they will ever do that. Felt that way since I started playing Ark in 2016 and had my first run in with people who were cheating.
Wildcard banned china from playing from playing Ark for over a year due to how much china cheats.
Now, Snail Games, china owned, owns Wildcard.
The chinese cheaters will never be stopped.
They could just hire some interns who go server to server banning cheaters.
It’s so crazy how Xbox and pc players own all servers. Everything is blocked off. Note runs and everything. It’s so frustrating. I have over 10,000 hours between Xbox, ps4, and ps5 and you can’t get on a server and do anything because it’s taken over by Xbox or pc is crazy
On top of that if ur just on pc to play keyboard and mouse it’s not like u gotta do anything special u can just plug it into you console

Speedhack and seeing all players/dinos hack still being used on EU 9038 STpvp, multiple people reported the cheaters and WC banned the people reporting instead of the cheaters, don't ask me questions i'm just as stumped as you
