After an ease installing this k-series in John's 8th gen, we make the trip to Dave's Tuning in Waterbury, CT. The car preformed how it should have and made us all happy. The journey has just begun, stayed tuned.

Finally a 1000hp 8th gen
I think this is the first 1k hp 8th gen in the world

Like it has a k20z3 in it. Isn't hard to push those numbers if yk what you're doing but NOBODY has till now

So rad to see the 8th scene heat up over the past 5 years. When I bought mine in '14 there weren't many serious drag builds on the 8thCivic forum. Gutting it was frowned upon cuz they were still "nice" lmao. Always dreamed of a build like this! So sick to see y'all go all out and break into the 4 digits!!!
I watched this video for the time over , still gave me goosebumps and brought me 2 tearz , respect to the engine builder / tuner , epic.

As a owner of a 07 fg2 si with a jdm k24a swap just for a daily fun car, I absolutely love that I'm seeing more and more of the fg2 8th gen getting built like this. I still want a older model with a k swap and awd, but I love the uncharted 8th generation!!!! I wish s1 would get there awd system done so I can cop that asap!!

@@sirob584 yes. They started on it but it's bin over a year and haven't seen anything on it yet. They replied to a comment a month or so ago saying there still working on the kit for 8th gen si. So hopefully by the time I save up for it it should be ready. Lol

with an exhaust I believe it would actually lose some power
@@zoovie needs the invidia n1 3” exhaust. It might lose a little horsepower up top but it would gain a lot of torque
