Stoke-on-Trent Railway Station - Saturday 26th March 2022

A look at Stoke-on-Trent railway station on the late morning and early afternoon on Saturday 26th March 2022.
Stoke-on-Trent is situated on the Manchester spur of the West Coast Main Line and is served by Avanti West Coast Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and London Euston using class 390 tilting 'Pendolino' trains. It is also used by Arriva Crosscountry trains going to and from Manchester to southerly destinations such as Birmingham, Reading and Southampton. London Midland also run services between Crewe and London using 'Desiro' trains which call here. Local stopping services to use the station are provided by Northern to and from Manchester Piccadilly and East Midlands Trains run services between Crewe and Derby which call here.
At the end of this video LMS Coronation class 4-6-2 number 46233 'Duchess of Sutherland' is seen making an operational stop with the outward working of 'The Mancunian' from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly.

I can remember when there was a 3rd line in the middle, cant remember what year they got rid of it though or why?

It was still there in 2004 so I guess it went in either 2005 or 2006.

Found out that it was removed in 2011 now.
