That was skipped for most from 1960 to 2020, though a long version was given to a small percentage which asked many more in-depth questions, including their place of birth and the rest. Like I said, he's amazing with Constitution stuff, and I don't mind saying I'd vote for him, but it just might have been better for him to avoid the census history.

Katie Porter and Rep. Adam Schiff is going to be Elected Senator for California and Rep. Maxine Waters is retiring along with other Representatives so someone is going to have to help train the new people up, Rep. Dan Goldman, Rep. Jasmine Crocket and Rep. Jared M. (I'm not going to butcher his Surname) and AOC have their work cut out so maybe there's a couple of Senators that would have a chance Senator Chris Murphy, Senator Corey Booker, Senator Mark Warner and Senator Elizabeth Warren are all young enough to try.

I’ve looked up the pledge of allegiance years ago and found exactly what Mr.Raskin was talking about. I was trying to argue with a relative about the words under god in the original version.
*The Pledge of Allegiance* was never meant to endorse a god or any religion, whatsoever.
The Pledge of Allegiance was written in *August 1892* by the socialist minister Francis Bellamy (1855-1931). It was originally published in The Youth's Companion on September 8, 1892. Bellamy had hoped that the pledge would be used by citizens in any country.
In its *original* form it read:
_"I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."_
*In 1923,* the words, _"the Flag of the United States of America"_ were added. At this time it read:

I've known for almost my whole life that "under God" was added shortly before I learned it.
When I started school in 1959, we learned the Pledge as it is today. My mom, who started 20 years, told me then that when she learned it, that it didn't contain "under God".
I learned it in the original version then in the newest version.
