Bru tribe has it's own distinct identity and culture. Bru or Reang is a community indigenous to Northeast India, living mostly in Tripura, Mizoram and Assam. In Tripura, they are recognised as a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group. Today we will take you to a Bru settlement in North Tripura and show you their beautiful kitchen and a very simple yet unique recipe.

2.House :-Earthquake proof use with Bamboo.
3.Daily uses :- We don't use any plastic instead we use LANGA(Made by Rai tree or Bamboo) for carrying anything every where & use it in different ways.

Some Bru/Reangs are not Refugees they are Displaced, in 1970 due to some dirty Bengali Politician (Dumbor lake project) more than 30,000 Brus they have to leave Tripura & have to stay in Mizoram till 1997. And Now they are cameback again in Tripura. Undoubtedly They are from Tripura & 2nd most population tribes in Tripura.
