Hi i have 50+ files to move to a different folder name. Those 50+ files already renamed then need to move files then zip. What should be the flow or actions to use? Pls advise. Thanks
Hi, Hope you are doing good!! Using Power Automate desktop, I have moved the downloaded CSV file to other drive. Now I want rename the moved CSV file based on the requirementsb text and date like this month or last month name & year. Please advise how can I do this.
How did you automate that? I am trying to automate this thing but unsuccessful. My scheme is, whenever a particular file is download from Power automate flow, it should be moved to certain directory.
Hi, at work I am constantly moving files to certain subfolders based on the number of the file and it takes up a lot of my time so I've been trying to automatize this recently. The problem is that the name of the file matches the name of the subfolder only partially. We create a folder for each deal we have and those deals are each identified as follows 16G02_01. Then we name all the files pertaining to that specific deal with a numerical sequence. For example, let's say we have a deal 16G02_01_5156156_1254_16-02-2021. We create a subfolder called 16G02_01. This sub folder is located in folder North -> region 1 - building 1 - 16G02_01 I then move those files to the corresponding folder manually. I was wondering if there was any way to automatize this with power automate considering only a part of the file name matches with the destination folder name. Thank you!
Was it that hard for Microsoft to add "crate file"?!? u need 2 steps (copy+rename) and a base file thats ridiculous!!! Am i wrong? Please say I'm wrong!
@@LearningTechnologies Dont get me wrong, i think that is a great step forward, at least for users who dont know how to program, but it seem artifical limited..

First rename them by using rename file on the required format and then move them by using move files actions
