i couldve mixed this better but im too lazy

THE WORLD REVOLVING by Toby Fox
time taken: nearly 3 hours - Фільми й анімація
I love the trend of people recreating music from memory because it creates such a unique version of the song thats familiar but different enough that it feels like experiencing it for the first time again
Its basically remixing it
You just described remixes
@@HyperlaserWasTaken Remixes tend to try to change something about the music on purpose to provide a different experience, like changing which instruments are used to play it or adding new bits on purpose.
If you don't know what I'm talking about that's fine, but you don't have to be rude about it.
@@quonit37 Rude? RUDE?! Where, when, and how?
@@HyperlaserWasTaken The comment was upsetting to me because you were stating something as a matter of fact, that I had just described remixes, when I was actually talking about something specific. You assumed that I didn't understand what I was talking about and it came off as an unnecessary comment, like I didn't know what I was talking about. It came off as, for lack of a better term, like you were trying to be a smartass.
I understand you weren't trying to be rude- I'm not mad at you, I'm just explaining why your language may seem rude to strangers
as someone who listens to THE WORLD REVOLVING more then I listen to *any* human being, it sounds really accurate compared to the original. It sounds good, I approve.
Me too
Me also
Same here. Although it does have it's flaws.
wasn't listening, could you repete?
same
As someone who has an unhealthy amount of undertale and deltarune screentime i can confirm this is almost completely accurate (except for the very end)
yeah i feel like the most accurate i got is the freedom theme part, then the rest fell off
also in the middle tremolo on piano is missing, my favorite part :(
I really do have too much undertale and deltarune screen time I absorb most of everything in a week
The flowey is at the front door
@@vilkillian I NOTICED THAT
This man has a better memory than ill probably ever have
I would've gotten so much wrong. Props to him
I only remember the absolute bop of a beginning the song has. lol
Jevil: "I can't remember anything!"
* it's just a burning memory intensifies "
There's a few MINOR errors in the melody but otherwise this is just... The World Revolving. Mad respect. Getting the melody off a few notes is nothing when you managed to get EVERY OTHER PART correct (by which I mean every line other than the top one lol)
even though i've listened to the world revolving SO many times, i still can't remember it!
I can. (I’ve listened to it over 30 times)
I remember it
i forgor💀
@@happiepotat474 jevil forced me to listen to it for over an hours worth of attempts (50 tries, i counted) and i still cant remember it
everyone knows how to remember meglovina when the world revolving is better 💀
As someone who spent an infuriating amount of time trying to beat Jevil, I approve of this, it's SO amazing
4 hours straight on jevil gang 😔
@@kommitisstupid I spent a few days trying to beat him until my hand hurts 😭 I suck at this game 😭
Same here, still can’t beat him, even tho I beat Sans
@@Harrison-lq3jj i have this issue in reverse
i beat jevil in like 3 tries lmao but still can't beat sans 😭
This sounds more like “The World Revolving” than the song itself. More energetic, chaotic, happy! Goddamnit this is underrated.
Edit: I dont usually do these but woah i got a hell lot of likes. Also y'all gotta relax and learn what an opinion is bro, I'm just trying compliment the musician.
No, its just an amazing job from memory, but no better
@@rhythmheaven thats just my opinion, I just said I felt like it fit a lot better.
no, ita happier but definitely less chaotic, youre just bad
Its just a opinion relax bro.
I just really like the instruments they use and the drums getting faster at certain sections. It feels a lot more free and less restrained which is why I like it better.
@@noobfart "uR jUsT bAd 🤪" what are you, 5?
Sounds amazing!
The pan flute note area from 0:59 to 1:00 is slightly flat. Toby uses microtones there tho
gotcha! thanks for the insight and the compliment :)
@@kommitisstupid Toby's microtones really make recreating the sound on any real instruments a bit hard
No one knows what microtone means
@@ottersmeep25kinda trolling composing move, tho.
@@dazza2350 Microtones are notes in between notes in a sense. Western music falls on a 12-note scale but the frequencies that exist between those notes are microtones
Me without reading the title: “This sort of seems like a ghostly version for some reason.”
Me after reading the title: “I was way off”
How did you get to the video without reading the title??
@@DmitriDmitriby not looking at it
Autoplay
I like to think that this is what came out when Toby decided on the arrangements for the music.
Now only the instrumental and orchestral distribution, meticulous selection of timbres and textures, construction of voices and counterpoints, meticulous consideration of dynamics and nuances, refined equalization of each element, precise spatial positioning in the stereo field, judicious application of sound effects, detailed control of volumes and panoramas, final equalization for tonal cohesion, application of compression and limiting, adjustment of levels for global consistency, addition of details and final brightness to the sound is missing.
Phew... Music. We love it until we have to do it for others.
I ain't reading allat
@@Confom nobody asked you to read all of that, so youre not required to
you're not that smart bro stop pretending
There are about 42 words there that I don’t know
I dont know what that is but i read allat
This literally just sounds like the world revolving. That's sick, remembering the entire thing so good and even creating it based on that is such an incredible skill
Listening to THE WORLD REVOLVING in a low pitch or slowed down just proves my point, the song sounds so much more tragic and it sounds fucking amazing, can he really do anything or is he just insane? He can. You can notice a lot of details by listening to it in slow motion, it's literally the sound of tragic freedom, the original still sounds like freedom but in a more joyful tone, it's still tragic though, don't get me wrong. So yes, it is normal to listen to THE WORLD REVOLVING for even more 1 hour, whenever I'm in a situation where I think this song will fit, I play it, my friends are sick of it but I don't care, this is MY main theme. I can say a lot more about THE WORLD REVOLVING and Jevil, but I think that's enough, I think you already get why this is my favorite song ever, it's a song about FREEDOM; FREEDOM where you can do ANYTHING, it's a song about CHAOS, CHAOS. Jevil is sure that he's free, and I think he's right, he breaks the rules and his actions along with his music proves it, it starts menacing but it becomes joyful, I can feel he's the happiest creature ever when the second part of the song hits, and the best part is definitely the third, as I said, the notes gets higher but in the end, it all falls a part, he's free, but he's seen as insane. After that part, it looks like everything is lost but, you can still hear a joyful tone in the fourth part, just to get complemented with the final part, where we can hear the melody of Don't Forget. Jevil is a complicated character, his song is PERFECT for him, chaotic, fun and with taste of freedom. I will continue to listen to THE WORLD REVOLVING, there's just something in this song that I just can't get enough of it, I will listen to every, remix version and cover. You might call me insane, but that's just ironic, THE WORLD REVOLVING is a masterpiece.
jokes aside, holy shit are you telling me this is from MEMORY?
i red all of that
so true, just something about it feels melancholic in a way
im hoping there's some more lore drops about the guy from seam in the next chapters
That's alot of words
To bad I'm nit reading them
All jokes aside you wrote an essay in a youtube comment section though 😂
Is bro jevil himself?
Toby’s done this before with a song from Kirby’s adventure…I think it’s a pretty cool exercise to take an existing melody and recompose it !
Sounds pretty accurate except for one part with a few wrong notes and I almost died
death by glamo- i mean wrong notes
This is surprisingly accurate to the original tune. Some parts here and there are incomplete, but just some tinny details, like hammer-ons and stuff. Btw, i loved the drum fills that you put at the end of every phrase at the B part of the song, they are simple, but quite effective, by making the ending of every phrase more explosive. I really loved this
glad you liked it!! :DD
The world revolving but it's just a burning memory
year 2 of waiting for someone to make an undertale/deltarune EATEOT (unless it already exists and im a dumbass)
I guess Toby makes very memorable soundtrack!
Someone should do a memory game with songs, like the first person does the original song from memory, then the second person has to make the song out of memory from the first person and so on
wait that sounds really cool i hope i can do this with someone someday
The “song that is meant to represent the original” would deteriorate very, very quickly
it's kinda like Telephone but with music
As a madman who, when testing a new DAW, casually decided to remix World Revolving again, this is scarily accurate. I mostly know melodies, but all those background beat bits were on par. As is mirrored in other comments, the end goes askew a bit, but oh boy is this accurate... I kinda want to try this now, but I know it won't be as good as yours :3
every instance of 'song from memory' is personalised and so i encourage you to try it! every time i listen to one of these, those improvised parts where the memory fails to remember is honestly really good because the artist fills up those spaces and i think those segments are really cool, so I'd love to hear yours if you ever try it out :)
you even include the faint gaster melody playing in the background thats amazing
Ain’t no way there’s gaster in the original song
@@casesater its the faint up and down scales while the pan flute plays the main melodies
@@KaylaaYukooomy guy that's called an arpeggio, they're super common everywhere
@@pearlplayaa you're right but that's the point of gasters theme, it's supposed to be found everywhere
@@laviuwu it literally sounds nothing like gaster's theme outside of also being an arpeggio
YOU FORGOT, HE'S NOT WITH YOU IN THE DARK.
THE MEMORY REVOLVING!
Really speaks to how powerful and distinctive Toby Fox's music is
This is really good! There were a few parts that were a bit off, but it didn't ruin this or anything. Really impressive for being done from memory
wow this is actually extreamly good!! surprisingly accurate for a by memory. i love it !
Jevil when he consumes a large amount of crack
Okay so this is the first time I've encountered a remix of a song that triggers my synesthesia where the remix also does so. However instead of smelling like freedom like the original this tastes like anticipation
Usually our synesthesia results in more normal tastes like peaches or tangerines, but there's something about the world revolving I guess
woahh that's so cool! synesthesia is so interesting for me, thanks for sharing :)
@@chocokittyboI remember reading about that in one of my old book series! It was called "The Secret Series" by Pseudonymous bosch, and it said that its extremely rare. I always wondered what it's like, literally tasting music and seeing spoken words. I'm sure they didn't get it 100% right though, so if you don't mind can I ask some questions about what it's like?
@@HappyIsaac0420 oh just saw this now, yeah feel free to ask away and we'll try and answer!
From a simple glance this does sound like the original for the most part, i'm impressed good job!
As someone who has listened to the song a couple times this sounds really accurate, Obviously some small mistakes but if I tried this I would end up making a new original song because my brain can’t remember the year half the time
this is remarkably well remembered
It's interesting how our memory can replicate sounds very accurately but not images
There are a few tiny bits that seem off, but other than that, this is insanely accurate. Nice! :D
I have had THE WORLD REVOLVING as my alarm clock for a few years now, and I could never bring myself to hate this track because of that. It's just way too good!
incredible job, this track is one of my favourites in Deltarune so far and I've listened to it countless of times. Your version sounds exactly as I remember the song!
It's also funny trying to predict the next tune as someone who hasn't listened to it in a while. I could remember every next second and that feeling added on top of the experience of watching this video! I'm happy I found this on my recommended, thanks for uploading!
bro has the best memory in the world
This reminds me a lot more to the gooseworx version rather than the original one lol
"I can't do anything"
Insanely well and accurate
Dementia, DEMENTIA. Memory-morphosis.
Great work. Also always was entranced by the 0:41 section, were the song just insists on repeating the same 4 note cue (changing slightly, of course)
this is highly impressive, amazing job
The thumbnail is a work of art. And of course, you've done a good job with the recreation!
this is from MEMORY!? dayum you have a good memory…
As someone who listens to deltarune's soundtrack unironically on repeat, this is very accurate
that is soo impressive! you should be really proud of yourself.
that is a really good recreation nice job👍
This recreation deserves an award.
This is so perfect, you have a good memory! 🎶
BRO THIS IS SO GOOD
This is beautiful
Way too underrated, keep up the good work 👍
happy jester (he ain't onto chaos)
WHY DOES IT SOUND SO GOOOOOD
I literally listened to this thinking "okay, cool, real version first for context. when is it going to change to the memory version?". very nice.
Its like i just woke up and listened to the world revolving. Very good job
You did a pretty good job here for it being based off memory but some parts sounded a little off but videos like this are always good to show why you use references when recreating something or even if you are basing something off of something count how many times I said something
broo good job, when im at school i forget what tone a bit is and i listen to it regularly
its accurate, almost everything timed out perfectly
ive listened to this ost for an ungodly amount of time to the point i have almost if not perfectly memorised every individual part of it and i can say you did a fantastic job
Pretty accurate, respect.
bruh this is so good
honestly sound really good
The thumbnail for this video is hilarious.
Masterpiece.
this is actually quite accurate!
This is amazing
wonderful
everything here sounds good
Ain't no wayyyy dude this is sick
Very accurate, very cool. 👍
We be getting out of the underground with this
Yes this is good, very good indeed
sounds like an awesome remix!
This really damn close, very impressive.
Tf this is awesome. And from memory? That's a sub.
very good I really like it.
Why is this sound better than the original? This is a banger!
I don't remember ANYTHING!
WHY I AM STRAPPED TO A WHEELCHAIR?
EVEN THE DEVILSKNIFE IS STUCK IN THE DESERT!
HOW DID IT GET THERE?
HOW DO I GET HERE???
I was expecting it to be way worse, this sounded like 99% accuracy
The catch is that he has the complete song engraved in his brain
very accurate!
May not be a perfect recreation, but this is still a bop 11/10
It's Just A Revolving Melody
Hey, new sub here. I just watched some of your videos and I think you have a really good talent. Congrats!
I want to know how many time have you been learning composing and drawing.
thank you! :)
i do both as a hobby so its more of an on-and-off kinda thing instead of being consistent, but ive been doing art since maybe 5 years ago (ever since i got a drawin tab) and music probably less than a year
As someone who has not listened to the original in a long time, I can't hear a difference.
BRUH i played them both at the same time and they seem IDENTICAL
impressive and correct
I know this song really well and play it pretty much obsessively on flute, I can confirm you ate this up
So awesome
Tbh added to my songs playlist.
the only thing i can tell is different is the main melody during the gaster part lost some of the ornamentation, and when it goes low it's slightly wrong, but other than that, this is a phenomenal recreation, good job
It's impressive how accurate it is
I mean i remember almost every second of the song (i have listened to an extended 10 hour version while at sleepovers, while at home, while playing games too
We shall name this the kommit remix
:vibing cat:
This is very impressive especially from memory
It sounds So same Yet so different I revisited the original and its basically the same except the original somehow seems more FUUL of sound...Crazy talent Mate...you earned my sub
Me: it's perfect.
My brain: No, no it's not.
Me: But, what's not right?
My brain: You forget something.
Me: What?
My brain: ...
Me: *WHAT??*
