The people who called in didn't really seem genuine in liking her music with all the comparisons to the Weeknd... but none the less glad she is getting support here in the US, she's such a rare breed, beautiful and soft spoken but her music speaks volumes.. I LOVE YOU TWIGS !!!
The question by the assistant Aeon is actually quite lovely because FKA twigs and Aaliyah have the exact same birthday - as does Sade - all Capricorns born on January 16th - and all artists who expanded the boundaries of identity and creative expression through their music, visuals, and dance
This interview wasn't bad, I've heard way worse. They seemed to admire her and promoted her music well. Especially when the woman said her music is so different from everything that is out there now, I guess besides the Weekend. It good to know that even though she may not be able to respond to fans, she doesn't read her social media anymore because all those hateful and racist comments are ridiculous.
this interview was such a mess lol from the way they asked twigs about her teen "fantasy" to the callers that was saying she's "freaky" and the constant comparison to 'The Weekend'....... was all so unnecessary. but nonetheless, i believed they really do liked her and props for them for interviewing twigs and welcoming her to the 'mainstream' audience.
I think she'd sound good with artists like The Weeknd or SZA The Weeknd and FKA can hit high notes how can you say that wouldn't be a good collab Plus her and SZA would be epic also
