Ive never heard of the Crusade chests placed in ever church before and its fascinating to see one preserved for all this time. Id love to see you having a look at other Kentish villages Richard.
@@RichardVobes l know they have a medieval market square. I can trace my family who lived there for about 300 years. They have a nice old church to but l have never been. I saw your video on Crowhurst which was very interesting. The Crowhurst in Sussex may be the real sight of the battle of Hastings. Apparently the monks at Battle concocted a story about that being the original site to avoid taxes, as they said William gave them an exemption.
Most enjoyable , thank you Richard and Julia
So pleased you liked it.
Fantastic video, as always. That looks like a well used and well kept church which is good to see. Rev Alex was an excellent guide.
Alex was great and there are some lovely artifacts!

I do hope to look at more kentish villages soon, Sid.
The ukraine chest is over stuffed.
I learnt about some of this in my history Lesson last (school) year
Very cool!
Can you do a video about Lenham. My ancestors came from there and some from Biddenden.
I will have to look it up - cheers Patrick
