markula was such a well written character. a 4040 year old vampire slum landlord with a passion for spiders. I wish he had made more appearances
Markula was a great character. I wish that he could have been like Sideshow Bob, Dan Halen or The Mooninites (before the voice actor started to have trouble with Err's voice that is), where he appeared in at least one episode every season, and the episode that he appears in is usually the best or one of the best of the season.

the thing is it's implied he always existed. it just took the aqua teeens needing to fix a gas leak for him to get off his ass and appear.
he was thierlandlord for crying out loud you'd think he would have appeared sooner with all their misdaventures.
"Oh that's what that is, okay." So nonchalant, way beyond caring or questioning anything that happens to him anymore. He's simply mildly appreciative that he now knows the purpose of what is tattooed over half his body.
Better than waking up and discovering your entire body is now made of eyeballs.

Honestly Markula might just be my favorite vampire design from any show ever lmao. The hunchback, the twisted hands, the vacant dead stare, the freakin keys he holds. 10/10 character imo.

So yeah, that's why Markula acts so nonchalant; he's seen it all.
