I've had lavender coconut shrimp before in Hawaii - I think that would have been a much better seafood option! It was homemade coconut cream infused with lavender essence and honey drizzled over battered coconut shrimp
Idea for a show. Will it bath. Outside of water, what other liquids and food feels nice to be in a tub with. For some reason I have always thought being in a bath surrounded by dried beans would feel nice. I imagine Rhett would agree.

They should do a crew bingo where they pick a whole bunch of strange words and if Rhett or Link say one of those words they mark that spot! It would be so funny 😂
I didn't know I was allergic to lavender until I used lotion that had lavender in it. My arms and legs got red and covered in hives. It was NOT a good time lmao
There's an ice cream place by me called Owowcow. They make a honey lavender ice cream during the spring and summer. It's one of my absolute favorites!! Lavender is a really interesting ingredient. This is a neat series! Looking forward to more
Lavender Honey, Ice Cream, Lavender Waffles, and Lavender Shortbread Cookies are absolutely delicious. Wonder what a Lavender Salami Sandwich would taste like.
Lobster bisque was not a great choice for seafood (no offense to Lily)! I have a lavender herbs de provence I put on salmon whenever I cook that and it tastes great, so it can work with certain seafood
Yes Herbs de Province is traditionally made with lavendel I believe. Though locally I can only get the version without lavender sadly. But regardless Herbs de Province is just one of my go to spice blenda for practically everything. It’s just so good.
Some others might be lemongrass, clove, wasabi, raspberry, chilli, tomato, and taro. Taro and chilli might be cop outs though, like beans. Green beans or Red Beans are pretty synonymous with sweet and savory in asia

Rhett is a lot like my dad. Just doesn't quite know when to let go of a bit or joke. Even when it's not working, just keeps pushing it trying to convince people it actually is funny. Is that a universal dad trait, or what?
Citrus passes this test very easily. We often don’t think about how ubiquitous lemon is! That said, it would be interesting to see this test with more “challenging” flavors such as anise, mint, rosemary, dill, clove, rose, and perhaps even cocoa.

This reminded me of when rhett n link sat in a huge bowl of cereal together lol
They did this but in pools
This would be the most entertaining video if they actually make it
Rhett's lavender photoshoot better happen for real. We all want this
He should go to the lavender farms in Washington!

This episode made me realize how versatile lemon is!!!! 🍋

Lemon is the best flavor. Lavender however……
Lemon is superior
Lemon or any citrus really
Finally people giving some love to lemons!❤

This should be interesting. Never thought of lavender as a versatile ingredient
It's not. It's like Cloves. Everything you put lavender in just tastes like Lavender. lol.
Lavender is too dangerous
Yep
I love cloves but you do have to be careful with strong spices. Lavender is an herb, not a spice.@@javagoblin1585
Because it isn't. It's as versatile as spicing up your dishes with poo.
Upset that they didn’t do lavender scones or a lavender Italian soda. Such a miss for such a great ingredient not to be applied in a strong fashion.

I think the Italian soda kinda got covered with the soda section. Like it was a low-key "Italian soda" without some ingredients
I love how cozy Link looks
I hope a similar episode will be done about Rosemary 😃
Too basic and common imo.
Ooh! I love rosemary

I was really expecting you to do coconut shrimp with lavender it could have been so good! You got three in one sweet, seafood and savory.
I love lavender drinks so the fact the soda got a 4 is a crime in my book
If only everyone had the same taste in things
well, i know a few people who would give it 0 xD
i would however give it atleast 8+
The chef mispropotioned the ingredient for sure. If you make it right it can definitely be good.
My favorite is lavender in lemonade!
I expect a low rating from Link, he's not a floral flavour fan to begin with. The upset comes from Rhett :(

Lemon and lime too
