I've since been reminded of The Velvet Underground song, Venus in Furs. I've always known the song, but didn't know about the book or that it had been inspired by it.
I've now watched the 60s movie this afternoon. I have to say very dark. Anyone seen it? Earlier scenes might be a turn on for many but many scenes are violent and brutal. I wonder how this compares to the book because in many cases a book and movie are quite different.
Has anyone read Venus in Furs book?
