- The Taman Negara (National Reserve) of Penang Island (Pulau Pinang) is located near George Town and offers a contrast and natural alternative to the decrepit and chaotic city.
With two possible itineraries, that of the monkeys and that of the turtles, we opted for the first. Next stop, Cameron Highlands.
