Hey guys. In this vlog we show you our day to day life here in Bangkok, Thailand. The cost of basic food at a convenience store and having laundry done. We know it is not the most exciting vlog today but we promise the next one is going to be spectacular:P See you all next time:)
Hey! Well done on getting first:) We did that shopping at the 7/11, i'm pretty sure that prices will be even cheaper if we went to a bigger grocer. Bangkok is really affordable:) Happy New Year to you too😀
Traveling Holmes we go a few things at 7/11 and the majority of the stuff we got from Farm Design Singha complex, right across the road from the Phetchaburi MRT station 😊. It was the closest store to our apartment
Hi Sir - Thanks, it is a nice set up, we just struggling with the auto focus for now. Cant seem to find a good setting for two people in frame. For editing, we use Final Cut Pro.
@@RhettandClaire Thanks I looking at starting my UA-cam channel too, am setting up a webpage, blog, FB, Instagram etc. After doing lots of research the GH5 is the camera of choice for top UA-camrs. The last piece in the puzzle is the editing software which most people never talk about, seems like Mac users can use Final Cut Pro, otherwise PC users really only have Adobe Premiere Pro which is not cheap. Thanks, I am now a subscriber to your channel. Your videos are very professional do you have Video Editing Experience?
Hey again:) We are glad to have you on board as a subscriber😀I also did lots of research and found that the GH5 would best suit our needs, its a fantastic workhorse! As far as editing software goes, I started out on iMovie, just because I already had my Macbook from 2008. It was a great starting point and very basic platform to learn on. On PC, I also tried PowerDirector 15 at the time and it was not bad at all. I then dabbled in Adobe Premier Pro for a few days before I made the decision between it and Final Cut Pro. For me, Adobe felt absolutely terrible after using iMovie and a bit of Final Cut so I immediately uninstalled and bought the Final Cut. I think the main reason for hating Adobe came down to having no magnetic timeline, I just got so used to the way that worked, it was hard to shift to something without. Also one of the main benefits was the render time, Adobe was so slow compared to Final Cut. I guess it all comes down to preference though, these are just some of my thoughts😀In terms of video editing experience, no I had absolutely zero up until I stumbled up this passion for videography about a year ago. Since then i've just been practicing and learning as much as I can about it all. I've loved every second of it so far and hope to start videography professionally one day:)
wow five days in bkk...and didn't go to visit other landmark such as the royal palace or do something more exciting but spending time in building. and the crazy busy business area. what's a wasting time. and that frozen food!! wow. never seen tourist like this before.
chalielaughingbug we were in Bangkok for 10 days, not 5. We did tons more than just this video OBVIOUSLY. Hence the other vlogs that we uploaded? Plus, we didn’t even film half of our 10 days spent in Bangkok because we were having so much fun. Please don’t jump to silly conclusions like this.
bradfordltd Maybe people who are there on vacation for a few days and can’t be bothered to walk kilometers to find a Tesco or Big C. Like it says in the description, we get our stuff from a CONVENIENCE store, which is what 7/11 is, since there is one on every corner. We only had to walk 100 meters...This vlog is aimed at educating fellow travelers, and not people who already stay long-term in Bangkok. Fellow travelers are also not going to make an effort to find a Tesco. Now please, if you have nothing nice to say then keep the trap shut, this is a happy place. Good day!
That was our life in Bangkok, for the short time that we were there. If you're not interested then move along, we most certainly won't be staying offline, we embrace critics actually, thats how we learn and improve. Your comment was not constructive in any manner, that is the issue here.

Streetalicious we loved Bangkok. We actually didn’t find it to be too crazy, maybe we didn’t go to the very busy areas though!😊
What store did you go to for your groceries? I feel like we've been going to expensive supermarkets judging by your haul lol.

@@RhettandClaire well this isn't "life in Bangkok" then, just holidays, its way different. If you can't stand any critics stay offline.

Why wouldn't you buy the majorty of the groceries from the wet and dry markets?
Supermarkets seem to charge more than supermarkets.
gonna trade her in for a Thai gogo dancer?
Who, Claire? Most certainly not! :D
