I appreciate the videos I’m looking into learning to sail, thank you for sharing this information! I have always wondered how you could get a crew member back on board! That’s brilliant!!!
Thanks for commenting. There is that likelihood with the key is to ensure that you have a ball bearing well lubricated swivel. Next week we have another rudder issue coming up. You’re not gonna wanna miss this one. thanks for watching.
These videos are great. I'm new to sailing. I come from a skydiving background where there's an abundance of accident investigations, incident reports and discussions which I've used to explore "what ifs". They've definitely helped keep me save over thousands of jumps. I've been struggling to find similar content for sailing, so this is exactly what I needed. What other resources would you recommend?
US Sailing and Cruising Club of America also have many well produced safety videos. We just do these in between our Sailing Rescue Swimmer Certifications, Safety at Sea and Racing offshore. Thanks for watching.

Thanks, practice is the best way to get it done… also if needed find a local coach… a few hours on the boat training really helps.
Well, done John. Good job.
Thanks. I hope you liked the part on General George S Patton
It seems that a series drogue is more reliable as it won't usually twist itself unless I guess let off for way too far.
