It was an absolute pleasure to chat to Saoirse Ronan and Amy Liptrot at the premier of #TheOutrun at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, the adaptation of Amy’s memoir, detailing her life as a recovering alcoholic in Orkney.
The film explores nature’s power to heal, and how Amy’s return to Scotland and her role with RSPB Scotland in the incredible landscape of Orkney helped with her recovery.
