Thinking about a trip to Sharm El Sheikh? This video will show you why Rixos Premium Seagate is the perfect place for your family getaway!
Just a 20-minute private taxi from the airport, you'll find a luxurious 5-star resort nestled on the shores of the Red Sea, with crystal-clear water and a pristine beach just steps away. That's the Rixos Premium Seagate in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
This ultra-all-inclusive paradise caters to families of all ages. We kept miscounting how many swimming pools there were to cool off in. Plus, there is a huge Aquaventure Park, which is one of the most diverse and comprehensive water parks in the region with 23 water slides and the home of thrilling attractions such as the Tsunami Slide, Looping Rocket, and Space Shuttle as well as the Twister, Family Rafting Slide and Black Hole.
We enjoyed the snorkelling off the end of the 800 metre-long pier which the abundance of coloured fish, we wanted to see more, so booked ourselves with a scuba dive with Pyramids Dive Center - a day that my boys will never forget. Come along for the dive as we head 10 metres under the surface.
The staff were amazing, each setting up our sunbeds and supplying refreshments all day long. Even in February, it was more than warm enough, but a light jumper was needed for the evenings.
The entertainment consists of a DJ, acrobatics, dance and a live band on the odd night. I would have loved to see more live bands.
My only gripe is with electric shuttle buses. When there are a number of passengers waiting, many guests think it's okay to queue jump. Rixos should prepare a roped queueing system.

You're in for a treat. We had a superb time. Enjoy. 😎
Hi there. We are looking to book. We have two kids and your room looked perfect. Can you confirm what type of room that was. There was so many different options!
The Family Room is a great room, with a pull-down blind. Here’s a link: www.rixos.com/en/egypt/rixos-premium-seagate/family-room
Family Rooms are generally located in Block 10. Views aren't great but it is in a great location. The bus to the aquapark is next to block 10 too.
Hi I’m travelling this month and heard a few things about them only wanting to take USD.Is this true or did you use EGP?
If you're referring to tippping, we used EGP, so can tip smaller than a dollar. There is a cash machine in the foyer.
Nice video could you tell me please do we need visa if we are only staying in sharm el sheikh?
if you hold a UK passport it covered under the following
" If you’re travelling to Sharm el Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts for up to 15 days, you will receive a free entry permission stamp on arrival. If you intend to travel out of these areas or stay longer than 15 days, you must get a visa"
if staying longer than 15days or leaving the Sinia region
If just staying in Sharm El-Sheikh for under 15 days, no. Just be armed with pens to fill in forms on arrival and again when you depart after check-in.
How far from the hotel was the location where you went for scuba diving ?
It's about 20 miles/half hour by minibus.
Hi we're going this weekend. Can you recommend which restaurants to try.
Looks fantastic.😊
We didn't try all, but those that we did were very good. We did the Italian and Asian opposite the reception, The Mangal on the beach, La Churrascaria, and People’s restaurant twice. Others were in the Turquoise main restaurant; lower floor has more choice than the upper. Enjoy.
Is the Turquoise restaurant a little less dressy up? Some of my group are not sure about dress codes in various restaurants? Could you help?
@@RichardJones-ng2xz no real dress code per se, but no swimwear. 😉
Thanks for the replies. The video was spot on. 👍👍
