You can put about 1/2 cup of your broth into your empty tomato can and swirl it around to get the last little bit out of the can! This looks great. Thanks for sharing!
First of all. That's not how you make that. All you need is a package of elbow mac, a can of whole corn a bell pepper, hamburger meat, chili powder, onion, Rotel tomatoes, garlic and cook the meat and vegetables together and then add it to the elbow mac until its tender and add tomato sauce are paste
My entire family loves you AB my kids, my husband and I watched you every week for four years. Happy Valentines to you and your family thank you for making cooking fun and doable for the whole family I’m making your stuff shrimp today and lobster for my husband for VDay❤
Greetings from the UK. Another great dish AB. There's currently a ' cost of living crisis' here in the UK...I'll make this recipe and freeze in containers for thro the week. Looks delicious 😋
Pasta really doesn't freeze well. Definitely try, but I would cook some macaroni on the weekend to add into the frozen stuff. Then make a macaroni salad as a side dish for other meals. Still, with this stuff, you really need the starch to thicken this up. Mom's goulash was never as thick as what he did. It was good, but a looser version. If you want another easy freezer meal, do cabbage rolls. Any recipe works. I don't roll it into the leaves, I just mix it altogether and put chopped cabbage in it. Then bake it. Cabbage can get watery so you bake it a bit longer than suggested.
My son loves your recipes ❤️he cooks with you all the time!! A little AB chef at 22😂😂😂I enjoy everything he cooks with you, especially the barbecue ribs😂now, if you can just get him to work on his housekeeping in the kitchen when he is preparing these delicious meals 😂😂😂😂😂
I make this ALL THE TIME right down to the cheese & sour cream. Slightly different ingredients but same overall meal. I will certainly try some of your options in the future as I have with other meals in the past. Thanks Brother AB, you're a godsend.
I saw you leaving the store the other day and you told me you were posting this recipe. Well let me tell you it was fire! All of your recipes are.. thank you!!!❤
You should really look at opening up a few restaurants. " Big AB's soul food spot". I'll gladly be your first customer, taste tester, or employee!! Keep doing your thing brother.
That looks delicious. I make goulash a couple of times a months. I've never thought about adding sour cream to it, will have to try that. I alway rinse my tomato sauce cans with the juice from the canned tomato and the broth since it's going in anyways and it won't water it down.
I made your recipe today. Have to watch the salt so I added Morton's sodium free salt substitute and 6 blend Italian cheese. My grandfather was from Hungary, so when my Mom was still alive she made Hungarian goulash. This is a nice change. My husband and I are having it for supper tonight with garlic toast. It tastes fabulous!!
I do the cheese and sour cream at the end too. Also like to throw in diced bell pepper. I use the broth to get the rest of the tomato sauce out of the cans, instead of water.
Shout out from San Antonio 😊 i will b making this on my off night from work tomorrow with some garlic butter french bread, looks absolutely delish TY for being you
Thanks for using up all that garlic and showing you used it all up. It was nice of someone to send you that, but nicer still to show you used it even if we can tell you prefer the real deal. Food waste sucks too. Lots of good authenticness in there to like. Subbed.
Yassssssss... We had something close in the school cafeteria growing up along with thick, Italian garlic bread. They called it "Macaroni Milanaise". I love to re-create for my kids and relive it at the same time! Nice recipe, AB!
Thank U good bro, I had been searching for good Sunday Family Dinners, and you are winning for us…I get the entire fam involved with old school music playing in the background just like my childhood use to be on Sundays👊🏾❤️
One pot meals is the way that I love to cook. Thank you AB for sharing this delicious recipe. I love to cook spaghetti topped with mixed vegetables,I may or may not add meatballs. And a layer of cheese is the cherry on top. ✌️
❤❤❤ Happy Valentine's Day teacher and thank you for teaching me how to cook people that are mentally slow like these videos that you put it out thank you
Wow you took me way back to when my Mom would cook Goulash and it would feed the entire family. As a kid I didn’t realize that it was so budget friendly (she knew) because all we knew is that it was soooooo good!!!! 🙏🏽❤️💯🔥
Good, Evening AB I have been following you for a while now to be about around 4 years and few recipes I have tried were delicious I am watching your goulash recipe the utensil to break up ground beef you can also use a potatoes masher thanks for all your recipes God bless you and family because God's is our morning glory stay safe my Name is Nora
I made this for dinner tonight and we loved it! I added the little extras in at the end just like you did, some cheddar cheese and I used Greek yogurt, about half a cup, instead of sour cream. It was really wonderful and easy. Thanks so much for all the wonderful recipes. I’ve never had a bad one from you😉
I didn’t wait until you finished and then you said goulash and I said I swear that looks like goulash but I never put sour cream or cheese in mine so I’m gonna try it like that. That was delicious. Thank you for the recipe chef.
Reminds me of good times! Even when didn't have much money, we could always afford goulash. My favorite level-up is slicing up pepperoni in thin ribbons.
This looks good! I make this quite often for my boys we love it I don’t cook with beef so I use ground turkey and Italian ground turkey together I also use the marinara sauce in the jar and chop up yellow onions instead I also add mozzarella cheese to mines and pair it with some cornbread and green beans usually or a salad!!! It’s delicious but I’m going to hv to try the sour cream add in next time I mk it I know it gives it a nice texture can’t wait tfs AB😊
Oooo I love this it's comfort food it's good with garlic bread or homemade corn bread 🍞 but I haven't had it with sour cream I totally got to try it with that I use bell peppers to sometimes I haven't made it in a while tho thanks for all you do
I don't do cheese or sour cream but I will put ranch dressing in it to make it creamy. Also, if I have it for left over. I will put salsa on it after I got a bowl just so it's a different taste.
Me scrolling looking for a goulash recipe and then thinking “I wonder if AB has one posted” ..10 seconds later, scrolling across this video 😁 right on AB 👍🏾👍🏾 #watchingfromTN
My mother made this a lot growing up and I've made it for my kids. Our church makes this a few times a year. aka American Chop Suey or American Goulash. Actual Hungarian Goulash is more like a beef stew with big chunks of stew beef.
Get the printable recipe here: smokinandgrillinwitab.com/ultimate-comfort-with-homemade-goulash/
This looks great and cannot wait to try it! Just a heads up that the printable recipe card on the linked page is actually a different dish though.
Walking through the grocery store getting the ingredients. Love the show🎉

Hey 🆎 I love this! I really made this when my children were young. Garlic bread, maybe a small salad... that's a meal.
Add garlic bread? MY DUDE, what an excellent idea! Can I put cheese on it?!
@@Mr30Dennis Uuuhhh…not a DUDE but it’s ok. Why not put cheese on it? You can buy it frozen at the grocery store.
@@nataliemscrzysxycoolharris OMG I'm so sorry. I meant no offense. What a great idea regardless! Thanks so much :)
@@Mr30Dennis Trust me Love, I’ve been called worse. We’re good 😉 Take care✌🏾♥️.

You can also add ricotta and parmesan as well to give it that lasagna flavor. I love experimenting with ingredients in goulash!
Taking notes on that lol
