I always tell toons: “why not go with each other? :)” They reply: “But we’re not strong enough” Me: “Well then you shouldn’t be doing a boss fight in the first place”
This is mainly a problem for Soundless toons. I have a soundless toon, and it's selfish when people remove you for not having sound or leave because you don't have sound. The game isn't about spamming sound. Honestly, you should rant about soundless discrimination because I try to give advice and people tell me to shut up for being soundless and tell me to die for not picking sound.
Mr. Barks Alot I don't hate Soundless toons (you can pick what you want & play the game how you want) but I would never invite Soundless toons to a boss battle or even a mint. Yes, the point of Toontown isn't to spam Sound, but it is the most time efficient strategy in the game.
It's not selfish just toons want to get through the game faster and would rather not take soundless toons with them. I am personally 100% ok with soundless toons coming along I think its cool to change strategies you just cant get mad at toons for wanting to be time efficent
I'm a Hollywood and I love inviting little toons! :) It's a better experience because most haven't done it much and they chat more because they're excited. Keeps the game alive in my opinion! I invite little toons because I know I can keep them alive as a higher toon.
To be fair, that's why the CCG is even around, so that little jimmy and his younger brother timmy who barely scraped by with a suit can do a boss run that otherwise they may not even see because of how few people ever want to do a VP anymore (outside of the guild of course) No boarding parties, no elevator shuffling, it's literally 1st come 1st serve in the mad dash, and it looks epic and hilarious every single time xD
0:21 why thank you, this new top hat took 4 days to create. I made a new one because my old one got A spec of dust on it, so it was too dirty for me. Anything with dust on it is dirty to me.
Hmm... That is true... However, I feel as though , instead of each building being a different area to go to, it would be sorted by cog type. I mean, it would be easier for tasks, but yea, it would be completely unnecessary.
OHHHH YEAH, boarding groups just made soundless toons lives literally infinitely harder. I picked sound last, so Daisy Gardens factory tasks were FUNNNNN to get through. Literally witnessing everyone around you TP into the factory and you're left alone... Honestly it is such an issue... the way sound is treated in TT, many people say they don't care if people choose to be soundless, yet don't tend to invite even maxed soundless toons. Sure, its quicker, but the point is to be a strategy game and sound has the least thought involved.... OK I'm ranting now, but seriously, the community really makes soundless discrimination an issue.
In CEO they should remove the go button. Nobody ever uses it...Just saying. And for the record, I've went as a 50 holly with straight level 1 callers first timers. With the low gags. Guess what? Minus the usual 1 crash. We all lived and to this day it's still been the fastest VP I've ever had. #StopToonDiscrimination
CiEL Dusk nononononono... Why does everyone think it's okay for a toon with 45 laff & level 4 gags to go VP? If it's discrimination, fuck it. If one thing goes wrong in Skelecog round, they would probably go sad. Challenge? Sure. I guess some people just have a lot of time on their hands.
Newer toons are more talkative and fun to be around with, most veteran toons nowadays are just slaves to the grind and barely even talk throughout whatever it is youre boarding for.
I total agree STORY TIME, XD once I wanted to do a vp with my 56 LAFF toon (note: this toon has level 6 Throw, squirt, and sound. plus level 5 drop) but when I went in the room in My cold caller suit, the hollywoods ignored me 0_0 I was like "brah I have good gags" but they did'nt take me.
However, there is an alternate solution if you're a cold caller. Try going on a Cold Callers Guild run. They go through boss battles and give the lower ranked toons a chance (Cold callers, Short changes, Bottom feeders and Flunkies) however it's at a specific time, so you might miss it.
Its more fun to invite lower level toons anyway. If everyone has the same amount of gags and is maxed, it just feels like everyone is breezing through a boss. Why not have more of a challenge and help out some toons along the way? How will they ever make it to a higher level cog suit if they can't get in?
lol in fellowship we were doing a mint and i went to the train track and when he enter i tp to him and almost died XD but when he walks in we tp to the elevator
Im unable to play ttr until August 3 at about maybe 4:00pm, because when I install ttr on my 2015 computer, yes it loads, but not ALL the files completely update. It keeps getting stuck on 1 file. Sometimes stuck on file 8 or file 10, so basically until I get my new computer, I cany play ttr.
Oh, I totally agree with you on this. I do miss the old days personally but then again, I hadn't experienced elevator ditching as much as many people given I made my main in early 2004, I got her to DDL in 2004, I had a high toon for pretty much most of my days playing TTO so I did experience being ditched at the elevator as often. I've had toons check my gags & know that I'm soundless & then make sure everyone else knows I'm soundless by using phrases such as "I think you should choose sound" or my favorite, "let's use sound" then selects "no" afterward. Not sure if you got this during the great elevator shuffle with lure but it came up on multiple occasions with me & sound. I've had smaller toons but I knew not to do certain things until I got to the right level. It was like if I wanted to do a VP with some friends or something, I'd sign onto Salty but as for my smaller toons, I'd raise them up to a good level before doing certain things. The factory task I think didn't exist when I was raising up Salty, I remember the task to carry more jellybeans being different but I can't remember fully how it went since this was fourteen years ago. As for my smaller toons who had to do factories because of Coach Zucchini, I did suffer a bit of the elevator ditching but factory wasn't that bad since you could go back to the playground & then have to walk to Sellbot HQ again. What got me angry was elevator ditching for stuff like boss battles & cog buildings. There was a time when Salty was a Cold Caller & was constantly ditched in the VP alongside other Cold Callers. That wasn't fun, especially that it was during the days when you lost against the VP, you lost disguise parts & the factory was hard so getting those parts was a difficult task. You'd see Cold Callers disappearing in the elevator & I didn't know the alt F4 trick as well as playing in full screen. I'm actually not being sarcastic when I say, good times. It's actually fun looking back on it, not as fun for the time being. There will always be discrimination against the smaller toon, even when they're not small. People automatically judge by disguise, I mean, I think Salty was at 80 laff-ish when she finally became a level 2 Cold Caller & that's because people see the disguise before the toon. It doesn't really matter if it's boarding groups or elevator, there will always be toons left out. I like the boarding groups method because it's more organized but I also don't like these sad, lonely elevators not being used. If I see someone waiting by the elevator for a bull & I need it, I will teleport to them & go in if they need me or look completely stupid if they have a group coming. Either way, I will definitely use the elevators if I get the chance.
Geez I remember the days in the VP lobby when people were literally GLITCHING BEHIND THE ELEVATOR in order to actually get on the elevator to fight the VP because so many people were crowding it... then boarding groups came...
Before TTR people only entered the sellbot factory through the side entrance. Instead of just blocking the entire entrance to where to your character ends up just leaving by itself. I miss TTO. I would pay for it to be back I don’t care
I think this is a great idea, specially because soundless toons can finally no longer wait for a long time just to enter a group -- Interesting video ! :> It'll be awesome if TTR could implement this feature, but just imagine the gang of toons complaining about it X'D
There'd definitely be two sides to it for sure. But really, soundless toons have to just be accepted as part of the game. Believe it or not but the game actually requires strategy. I know that's hard for some but just accept that other people make their own decisions and understand the rudeness of pushing others away for differences.
I gotta say, I use the elevator for da offices and going into the CJ battle. As well with Bossbot stuff. But for sell and cash I always use boarding groups. Weird huh
hard to go with lower toons in a VP... I went with a group and during the skellecog round we had to duo... it was with a crock... also the only times I use the elevator is during the CCG, and pretty much any group on ToonHQ.
What about when the 40 laffer invites you, you give him a chance, and he decides to make you duo with him. I hate that so much! There should be a number of how many people are in the invitation. maybe in a pull down bar.
My toon Pink Rubber Duck was a 4 gag uber, but I decided to stop because getting into the VP was so annoying 90% of the time thanks to segregation of my toon for boarding groups. Even though my gags are level 6 (except drop is level 5)
I have been removed from boarding groups multiple times after one high toon invites me. And one of my last VP runs, some high toon said "I don't trust noobs" and left before the battle even started! Which is 1) selfish on her part because it messed everyone else up 2) Ignorant because she refused to even give me a chance, I bet she didn't pay any attention to my gags or suit, like if other high toons invited me to join them, then that means I'm actually pretty good! Not to mention, assuming that I'm a noob and assuming all toons with low laff don't know how to fight in Toontown or play the game and 3) Annoying because then everyone started to leave!
I always go into DA office elevators, cj elevator, ceo elevator and sometimes the cfo elevator, and sometimes the vp elevator. I'm one the rare toons who likes using the elevator.
Sadly. I was walking towards the bossbot hq, and because my laff points were lower, (70) when I greeted the other higher up toons, they all looked at one another, then me, to only tp away. Really rude people in groups.
Cri for jimmy. ;-; And I remember when there would be a huge group around coin mints, begging people to get in with them. I remember toons strewn out throughout HQs... Then around the time boarding groups came out I would be my 45 laff self standing around the elevators, as being THAT GUY who ran in with the high toons was my only way to experience it, lol.
I actually do lol. Mainly because like I said, it was my only way to get in the elevator cause I was that annoying guy who went in with low stats... But I miss it just the same. ^^
i don't use elevators for cash and sell at all, but when i'm in a da group we all run to the elevators and when i'm going into a cj we all walk to the elevator. same goes with bossbot, everybody walks up the slope.
In one of lousiannas videos he was playing before it existed since all you did was hop into the elevator with some toons but with it now since your picked of what you have
One solution for low toons getting invited into boarding groups is to NOT HAVE SHIT GAGS. I'm sorry, but idc if there are 7 maxed toons, I'm not inviting someone with level 4 Throw & Squirt & level 1 Toon-up.
Dylan Singley *Stop it.* *Get some help* My god, stop trying to act smart! You’re only making yourself look like a freakin toon racist B**CH!!!! Seriously, I’m a 38 laff toon and I’m a lvl 10 Mingler. Yeah, before you judge, THINK. JUST THINK. CAN YOU DO THAT.
That's just judgemental and rude. Keep in mind that you started out on the same level with the same gags as everyone else. You are not better than anyone else. In toontown we're supposed to help our friends and fellow neighbor. Make it a goal .
Morgan Miller And so? Being a 38 laff toon and going on VPs is just you being a leech unless you’re an Uber. If you saw a 38 laff, level 4 throw and squirt with level 2 sound toon in the factory, would you bring him on?
@@burgernthemomrailer I don't know because I haven't been in that situation, but if I didn't want that person, instead of being rude and giving a flat out no,I would say something like "As much as I would love to have you on my team, the Cogs are vicious and this is brutal. I feel like you need a little more time to grow in gags and laff.
I understand the small toons but I don't see the big deal about going into the elevators or not, I mean it's not like in real life like getting more exercise xD it's just easier faster for the grinding you don't have to walk all the way next to the ceo to enter the bull elevator
I used to been a level 45 mr.hollywood at 76 laffs, as a kid, I used to love going to the vp alot. Now in days, when the game closed, on rewritten, I was a level 1 cold caller and people were really rude on helping me with a toontask in the vp battle. On one task, I was suppose to kill like 16 sellbot cogs in vp, but alot of rude mr. hollywoods said "no" to me and I had to argue with them for like an hour and a half, but sadly the hollywoods beaten me and I thought the argument was getting really stupid, so I had to leave the vp and went to the sellbot buildings instead. Man, I missed being a 76 laffs toon and now I'm like 45 laffs now with 3 toonups, 3 lures, 4 throws, and 4 squirts. Just wish it was possible that joey would help us have our toons come to rewritten instead of starting over at 15 laffs.
Cool! Also, while I've got you here, you know how you have your 'Loopy's Balls' shop on Loopy Lane on Corporate Clash (hilariously clever, btw)? I wish to open my own shop in Toontown as well: I call it CJ's Toony Portraits Studio. C.J. would have toons complete tasks like recovering art materials from cogs and the like. AND I hope you like the street names I suggested on your Twitter feed!
"A toon to go into battle without being removed from the group," wait, how old is this rant? "Ability to prevent other toons besides the leader from being able to invite people," that worsens the whole "Hollywood only group" problem, though.
Congratulations! As of the Field Office release and rebalance, you have gotten your wish.
Rewritten 3.0.0. Has got you covered! They made it so you can only make a boarding group while next to the elevator! I guess the PSA paid off!
Golf Boarding Groups pls
I totally missed that, you're so right. I should've added that in.
YES
Racing boarding groups could be cool to if golf gets them :P
Jetx_x yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaas and when your waiiting to fight the ceo outside why not make an option for the ceo
GOSH MEGA, you have the best ideas
I like the way it looks how all toons appear out of smoke and go into the elevator when the leader walked into the elevator
Yeah that's neat
as an Old Toon, i agree. boarding groups did help with shuffling, but other than that, theyre very annoying.
I always tell toons: “why not go with each other? :)”
They reply: “But we’re not strong enough”
Me: “Well then you shouldn’t be doing a boss fight in the first place”
Rule of thumb is: Could you fight this boss with 7 more of you?
*Doesn't have maxed Sound*
Dollar? Dollar anyone? Dollar?
;u;
Well exCUUUUUUUSE ME for toontasks being stupid.
Meeee
Me tho
MesprittheDigimon Just max your Sound. Not that hard of a concept...

I'll definitely have it written down, I feel like it's been beaten to death but I think I might be able to give my own take on it.
Honestly did not know you could say that in Toontown. Censorship pls.
Mr. Barks Alot I don't hate Soundless toons (you can pick what you want & play the game how you want) but I would never invite Soundless toons to a boss battle or even a mint. Yes, the point of Toontown isn't to spam Sound, but it is the most time efficient strategy in the game.

Forget elevators, SPERAD AWARENESS FOR THE FREAKING SIDE ENTRANCE
Lest we forget.
yeah nobody even does side entrances anymore its sad
I'm a Hollywood and I love inviting little toons! :) It's a better experience because most haven't done it much and they chat more because they're excited. Keeps the game alive in my opinion! I invite little toons because I know I can keep them alive as a higher toon.

Except those are only Bosses :(
Except those are only Bosses :(
Wait till he finds out now you can use toon hq and teleport directly to the elevator from the gag shop immediately after a previous boss fight
😍
0:21 why thank you, this new top hat took 4 days to create. I made a new one because my old one got A spec of dust on it, so it was too dirty for me. Anything with dust on it is dirty to me.
OMG xD xD
*puts a bucket of dust on you*
Layliannaxoxo Ugh, I spent 4 days on the hat! Now I need to wash my clothes too! And my shoes! And my Gags!
Elusivegoldendragon Good luck, man. xD
"Can I please join your Boarding Group?"
NO NEVER
jkyoucancome
Honestly sometimes i just hop on the vp with random 7 toons to make it more of a challenge but also for the nostalgia
Yeah I like the risk factor of it lol
Banana Gaming To each their own, I guess.
i remember seeing this video 5 years ago and thinking god i hope they never do this change it sounds so annoying and here we are.
Wow this video worked so well TTR added it in 2021! :O
Could you imagine boarding groups for buildings? The streets are empty except for the entrances...
That would be so unnecessary too though lol, it'd also be hard to make it work with each individual building.
Hmm... That is true... However, I feel as though , instead of each building being a different area to go to, it would be sorted by cog type. I mean, it would be easier for tasks, but yea, it would be completely unnecessary.
Yeah, it gets a bit too technical I think, it's not a bad concept though
@@LoopyGoopyG this has happened

I felt like Jimmy when I first started playing Toontown. Great video, Loopy. I'm going to play Toontown this weekend.
Thanks cagealicious :)
Cagealicous arent you friends with me on ttr? Red dog named Sir Sunky?
In CEO they should remove the go button. Nobody ever uses it...Just saying.

Yep! It's fun to me personally to take along the little toons.
LoopyGoopyG Same :3 It brings a fun challenge to the game, like ubers!
Sure :)

elevators still used:
DA Office
CEO
CJ
VP
Cog Buildings
Unused:
Factory
CFO
Mints
Adam Smith Well, Is There a different way to go into cog bldgs?
The past times i've done a vp, the group leader would not use the elevator
r.i.p vp elevator ???? - 2019 :(
wait, people dont use DA office elevators?
Newer toons are more talkative and fun to be around with, most veteran toons nowadays are just slaves to the grind and barely even talk throughout whatever it is youre boarding for.
at least everything is free so you can't whale lol.. unless u consider time to be a currency
I still love using the elevators. It's more fun than clicking a go to button.
Me too!
Hm.. View count is 666 and the ad is illumination.. HMMMM

oh shit, the minion invasion has began...
How do you feel now that your suggestion made it into the game?
I am a fan of the changes, I think it's nice to finally use those spaces in the world of Toontown again
#StopElevatorDesertion
I fully back this
Honestly, this toon my friend with over 100 laff and all maxed gags, he was a cold callers and he never got invited to a Hollywood group...
Yeah, a lot of people don't even bother to check laff/gags at least
I wanna try a thing called "Blind Bosses" where someone who I might have with me would make the whole group and I would just have to go with it.
That'd be awesome :o
Dan Banana Isn't that kinda like the ccg?
pretty much tbh
When im the leader of a boarding group i always walk up to the elevator
I'm proud of you
me too, if im the leader we're taking the elevator. i usually only do that in bosses though
This aged well
I total agree

Try maxing gags before doing a VP.
You do NOT need to max gags before doing a vp. The vp is not close to hard enough to justify that.
Jack Erb I know, but if you want to get in a group, you have to.
However, there is an alternate solution if you're a cold caller.
Try going on a Cold Callers Guild run. They go through boss battles and give the lower ranked toons a chance (Cold callers, Short changes, Bottom feeders and Flunkies) however it's at a specific time, so you might miss it.

That's all you can ask for! To me it's worth it just for the fun of trying.
Exactly. Plus, you can just disconnect before you believe you'll die. So, no harm done.
yup yup!

I hate the elevators becuase I watched a bunch of toons including my self get greened by a guy who would leave the elevator at the last second
I think combining the two is the best option. Boarding Groups that are ended by getting on the elevator.
That experience as a young new toon in TTO, gave me an extreme distrust towards Mr. Hollywood players for a long time.
I don't know how this aged
like a fine wine

Why thank you Loopy you're too kind!
My toon Pink Rubber Duck was a 4 gag uber, but I decided to stop because getting into the VP was so annoying 90% of the time thanks to segregation of my toon for boarding groups. Even though my gags are level 6 (except drop is level 5)
Yeah, that shouldn't happen.
Do more of these rants, Loopy! Really liked the video! Like + Favorite :)
Thanks Felipe :D
I always go into DA office elevators, cj elevator, ceo elevator and sometimes the cfo elevator, and sometimes the vp elevator. I'm one the rare toons who likes using the elevator.
May I say you're looking very amazing today loopy
they have the cold caller guild that's a thing
I only noticed the cat the day when I got Toontown Retooned. Totally believe you though. XD
Years later we run to the office elevators and bossbot karts
Sadly. I was walking towards the bossbot hq, and because my laff points were lower, (70) when I greeted the other higher up toons, they all looked at one another, then me, to only tp away. Really rude people in groups.
Cri for jimmy. ;-;
And I remember when there would be a huge group around coin mints, begging people to get in with them. I remember toons strewn out throughout HQs... Then around the time boarding groups came out I would be my 45 laff self standing around the elevators, as being THAT GUY who ran in with the high toons was my only way to experience it, lol.
But it was the best! Don't you miss the crowds at each elevator?
I actually do lol. Mainly because like I said, it was my only way to get in the elevator cause I was that annoying guy who went in with low stats... But I miss it just the same. ^^
But steven people dont really exclude after the vp
But Harvey #StopElevatorDesertion
i don't use elevators for cash and sell at all, but when i'm in a da group we all run to the elevators and when i'm going into a cj we all walk to the elevator. same goes with bossbot, everybody walks up the slope.
In one of lousiannas videos he was playing before it existed since all you did was hop into the elevator with some toons but with it now since your picked of what you have
dude i still use the elevators omg. whenever im the leader of the group i just run to the elevator for fun
alright if the derp cat is real where the heck can i find him?? i've looked on loopy lane but i can't find it lol
What does jimmy's gags look like anyway? (Srry if I said that incorrectly)
probably fruit pie slice and a squirting flower
honestly never knew there was a side entrance elevator into the factory
this is a problem but wouldn't Jimmy just have to level up his gags? but that would take a while
Holy crap I forgot how far the bullion elevator was lmao

thanks for the compliment at the beginning yay thx
You're very welcome :P
ty for the complement :)
Ayy you betcha :)
you should upload your streams like royko
I would but a ton of my stream includes copyrighted music and stuff so I can't really :s
;-;
i wish i did VP in tto but now in ttr i just became a mover and shaker yesterday and i really want to max VP
Keep working at it, you can do it :)
this happens to me. so when I am Hollywood I give an oath to help lower toons...
*donates 7281727271827/7812347 jelly beans*
TAKE IT ALL!!!!!!!!
One solution for low toons getting invited into boarding groups is to NOT HAVE SHIT GAGS. I'm sorry, but idc if there are 7 maxed toons, I'm not inviting someone with level 4 Throw & Squirt & level 1 Toon-up.

*Get some help*
My god, stop trying to act smart! You’re only making yourself look like a freakin toon racist B**CH!!!!
Seriously, I’m a 38 laff toon and I’m a lvl 10 Mingler.
Yeah, before you judge, THINK.
JUST THINK.
CAN YOU DO THAT.
LittleLilac27 Gaming! You’re 38 laff and level 10 Mingler? Either you’re an Uber or an absolute leech.
I feel like you need a little more time to grow in gags and laff.
one useful thing for lows is that online group thing
i prefer not to use the elevator cause no one is there and i would be left behind

Random Orange Bunny: NOPE
I hate the segregation and the lack of talking! And the pursuit of only ubers! I think a mandatory run to the elevator would be nice and in order.
My "Group of Toons" picture I made for the Wiki is famous! 0:44
3:13 Good question I don't even think I've seen toons use it on TTO
I understand the small toons but I don't see the big deal about going into the elevators or not, I mean it's not like in real life like getting more exercise xD it's just easier faster for the grinding you don't have to walk all the way next to the ceo to enter the bull elevator
It means people can pick who they want. If all of them stand in front of the elevator, they can't prevent toons from going in.
What's ironic is that the jellybean looks like tear.
Thanks for the tip, really appreciate it.
+acm240 go to the cold callers guild on toonhq.com it's a group of people who accept cope callers in vps
Elevators are good for soloers and people who like dramatic effect.
That thumbnail is clever
Haha thanks :)
Where do you get the background music for your rant and mysteries videos?
This video uses music from the game Disney's Magical Quest, the mysteries videos use Bossbot HQ TTO music
Just gave the Disney's Magical Quest music a listen, and I have to say, it honestly sounds EXACTLY like what you'd hear on Toontown :D
Yeah, I loved the game growing up and the music was always memorable to me so I decided to include it at some point cause I thought it'd fit.
It truly fits :)
"A toon to go into battle without being removed from the group," wait, how old is this rant?
"Ability to prevent other toons besides the leader from being able to invite people," that worsens the whole "Hollywood only group" problem, though.
Did I just see a toon look exactly like me at 1:17!?!?!?!?! O_O (The Purple Cat)
