I am a very big fan of EDM music, especially Trance genre. I have been listening to trance music for past 8years and my favorite is Armin Van Burren. Trance music has some energy and I feel it. I keep listening to trance tracks often do I get a lot of tunes unknowingly in my mind. I want to put convert them into music. So, fortune and connections play a big role which tends to be overlooked. If 5 people are equally skilled, ones connection will take him ahead.
My MUSIC TEACHER advised me to "First make sure to have an Education-occupation's degree as a back-up and music will keep going with you"..and the thing is IM NOT ABLE TO FOCUS ON STUDIES than Music....that's the biggest issue here..and like almost every person I start to doubt that what will I do in my life ...and then struggle between the FORCES OF MUSIC AND STUDIES...just very much stressed rn ...as I'm in 11th class and as a SCIENCE STUDENT ...the stress is more🤕...can I get a advice sir
Bahut accha karenge aap life mein, don't worry. Aap 11th me hain to 12th acche se clear kar lijiye. SKill develop karte rahiye side by side. Jab skill bahut acchi tyaar ho rahi hogi, tab apni music samne laaiye logo ke. Audience build ho jayegi, aur tab tak aap ke studies ke through back up bhi tyaar ho jayega. Don't worry, raste apne aap khulte hain. Aur sahi waqt aaye to aap raste ko pehchan bhi lenge. Kuch mat sochiye, sirf skill develop kijiye. Kyu k wo nahi to kuch nahi. Aur skill ek din me develop to hogi nahi.. hai na.. wo to ab saal do saal chaar saal lag jaayenge. To padhaayi bhi sath me kar li jaaye, thode decent se marks bhi laa liya jaaye. Usse gharwale bhi khush rehnge to aap shanti se bina stress ke music bhi kar le payenge :)
Agar musician proper banna hai bro then atleast make sure you are in a musically active city. Delhi or Mumbai are great options. Atleast surrounding yourself with fellow musicians alone can make things feel a little easy. Then meanwhile graduate from subject that you are interested in but not science coz its time consuming and since you wanna be a musician toh tumhara zyada focus apne aap ko as an artist banane ki tarafh hona chahiye. Try arts instead vo bhi kisi bhut reputable college se nahi coz you just want a degree bhut zyada attendance vegera types ke jhamele mein nahi pdna hai tumhey coz again, music is priority. Try understanding about freelancing, learn about this skill and do whatever you can to support yourself financially.

I am a Software Engineer in Bangalore, and I'm planning to join a company in Kolkata(my native place) and to move there., which is not of course a good place for IT people. That is a small compromise to my full-time profession just to parallely start my part-time musical career, because the music culture is better (than Bangalore) in Kolkata.
