Let's see if I can explain my thoughts clearly lol--
"Flicker" is originally pretty hard core sad/angry sounding, with that fat wall of Ebm9 hitting most drops regardless of the happy/major twangy guitar loop intro/verses. The main lyric is also: 私はちょうど何が重要か見つけようとしている which means, in my own translation, "I'm searching for just what is important." So my arrangement is my response to those lyrics. I play later choruses in the relative major and throw in the curveball magical sparkly flat seven dominant with a sharp eleven (you'll hear it) and my version of the lyrics/remix title is 私はちょうど何が重要か見つけた which means "I have found just what is important." Because that is exactly what I did last year.
