It makes me feel bad because I really don't remember or recall Connie Smith.. I recall the name Connie Stevens but, not Connie Smith. She does sound good .. she sounds like a cross between Dolly Parton and Tammy wynette.. Which are two great singers. So I'd like to consider that a compliment. If she's in the same age group as they are, give or take, I'm bounded to have heard her singing throughout the years growing up on the radio, obviously without knowing.
I certainly recall the name Brenda Lee .. she had quite a few hits out that everyone including children loved listening to.
Also sounds a lot like Tanya Tucker
