Adele writes beautiful songs with lyrics, frequently nostalgic or sorrowful, that we all can relate to. Angelina delivers those lyrics with emotional power and vocal flexibility that no one else can. And her decisions on vocal effects and treatments aren’t there to show us what she can do with that magical voice. They are being used to enhance the delivery of the message of the lyrics. This is a stunning performance. We relate because Angelina is living those lyrics as she sings. I don’t know how anyone can sing this better. Wait a minute-you’re an Adele fan, you are mesmerized by Angelina’s singing, but you haven’t listened to A Million Years Ago? You are in for a major treat, but bring some tissues.

Because her roots are in jazz, Angelina can inflect in passionate ways that non-jazz singers just can't do, no matter how great they may be. Her presentations of covers concerning ballads by Adele, Rhianna and Lana Del Rey are always superior, for they go right to the inner soul. I believe her love of Billie Holiday and Amy Winehouse at such a young age, gave her the impetus to sing from deep within her soul.
For me, the Angelina effect is very strong with this performance. My mind and spirit are taken on a journey while Angelina's voice hugs my soul. New people to Angelina get sucked down this road of experience not believing what they're hearing her excellent vocals and unique way of singing, Angelina is a master at music structure her ability to show absolute recognition to a cover while she makes it her own. Angelina writes her own music and produces it. Angelina's mother is Norwegian, her father is from Sweeden The artist grandmother (Mery Zamani) on her mother's side is from Iran and her grandfather (recently deceased) from Japan both grandparents are very involved with Angelina's growing up, Angelina's song a million miles is about losing her grandfather. Although Angelina didn't win AGT champions 2021 she was signed to Republic record label and is producing new music 7th Heaven, Million Miles, Save the world shes on her way to a world market that I'm sure she'll dominate.

From Adele, the ones I know about are When We Were Young (outdoor concert} A million years ago All I ask All of these are fantastic. All I ask was just done in the past couple few months in studio. But the one that gets everybody emotionally is a million years ago. Personally, I think that one is even better than Adele! Angelina just rips your heart out.

I love the deep and emotional way Angelina sings this cover and in general the songs of Adele, so quiet and effortless, every time I listen to her I can never keep my emotions at bay. Hi Jennifer, I can't believe it's only been 3 months! You have come a long way since then! Adele has written some beautiful songs for Angelina to cover!! Strangely, Angelina has sung Rolling in the deep and Hello, but not proper performances. Rolling in the deep she sang for a visitor to her home in 2011 (age 5) with a toy guitar and a great deal of enthusiasm! Hello she played on a church organ, just a snippet, trying not to make too much noise while she was waiting for a rehearsal. Any opportunity to make music, any place, any time - music is her life! Angelina has made a difference to the lives of so many people, especially during the pandemic. I hope to hear you react to another Angelina performance real soon!!

For some reason, I felt compelled to compile this info for you. Sorry it's so long. I'm not including direct links, because YT tends to not like comments that contain a lot of links (sometimes it hides those comments from channel owners, for some reason). But I've included the full video titles and the names of the channels they were posted to [AJCC = Angelina Jordan CoverChannel; AJFM = Angelina Jordan Fanclub Mosarz], so you can search for them.
In addition to the two you've already reacted to ("All I Ask" and this one, "Someone Like You"), Angelina has done "proper covers" of the following Adele songs

* "Skyfall"
- at 6 or 7, in a recording studio: "Angelina Jordan recording in studio (Sky Fall)" [AJFM]
She also recorded vocals for "Someone Like You" at 6 or 7, in that same studio: "Angelina Jordan (Someone like you)" [AJFM].
The last 3 were done as part of her vocal training in an afterschool program. In the last video (for "Someone Like You"), the recording engineer seems to be mixing and editing multiple takes (at the very end, you can hear three distinct vocals, the loud one with reverb on it and two other quieter ones without reverb - one of the latter two might be Angelina singing it live as the video was being recorded, but they can't both be). Anyway, I assume this means each of these songs were edited into a final form that perhaps was burned to CD or something. I would love to hear those final versions, if they exist! (BTW, there's another very short clip of her recording vocals for "Someone Like You" at 6 or 7, but it would be impossible to find just using the video title ["jordan"], so nevermind. It's very similar to the one I listed above, anyway.)
For the sake of completeness, I'll also mention that she has covered Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love", which Adele covered on her first album. The same performance, apparently recorded when she was 11 and first posted when she was 12, has been uploaded to both her CoverChannel ["Angelina Jordan - Make You Feel My Love (Acoustic Cover)"] and her Fanclub Mosarz channel ["Angelina Jordan rehearsal (To make you feel my love) 2017"], but for some reason the version on AJFM seems to have been slowed down a bit (as opposed to the one on AJCC having been sped up), so it sounds about a semitone lower.
And finally, there is a video where she is listening to, but not singing, Adele's "Rumour Has It" as she brushes her hair in the bathroom, getting ready to go sing in the second round of _Norske Talenter_ [Norway's Got Talent], at 8. You might be able to find this one with a search: "Jordan astar" [sara slatmann].

Although Angelina didn't win AGT champions 2021 she was signed to Republic record label and is producing new music 7th Heaven, Million Miles, Save the world shes on her way to a world market that I'm sure she'll dominate.

I love the deep and emotional way Angelina sings this cover and in general the songs of Adele, so quiet and effortless, every time I listen to her I can never keep my emotions at bay. She has to feel in tune not only with the music, but especially with the lyrics and I think this is one of the main reasons, she tells the story that the song contains, in hers own way splendid. 😊 ❤️

Adele has written some beautiful songs for Angelina to cover!! Strangely, Angelina has sung Rolling in the deep and Hello, but not proper performances. Rolling in the deep she sang for a visitor to her home in 2011 (age 5) with a toy guitar and a great deal of enthusiasm! Hello she played on a church organ, just a snippet, trying not to make too much noise while she was waiting for a rehearsal. Any opportunity to make music, any place, any time - music is her life! Angelina has made a difference to the lives of so many people, especially during the pandemic. I hope to hear you react to another Angelina performance real soon!!
