I started doing Jessie's hacks a couple of months ago and my cravings have practically disappeared. This has made my reduced eating much easier and I am close to getting my BMI into the healthy range.

Trinny, you're so plugged in to the current scientists and true health experts. I have just discovered Jesse and she is very knowledgeable. And it's funny how she matches your energy, which I've never seen a guest do before! Great show.

    Really good advice.
The only extra information I think is important, is that every person’s genetics dictates how they will react to different food types, timing of food, satiation and more.
This is also a valuable piece of the puzzle 😊

So good to hear facts that are accurate & help us make good decisions with our food & sugar intake. I've been a vegetarian my whole life as I couldn't tolerate meat, eggs & quite a few other foods but I do have a sweet tooth! Thank you for all the advice. Savoury breakfasts here I come 😂 X

Trinny , you can try full cream add into your coffee, full cream doesn’t have sugar like full milk. So it doesn’t bother the lactose intolerance cause the absence of sugar in full cream

Tim Spector would not approve of protein powder. You don’t need supplements. You can get everything you need from whole unprocessed foods- pulses especially. And Chris van Tulleken would strongly disagree about drinking Diet Coke. Full of terrible very damaging additives and chemicals. And all oat/almond/nut milks are ultraprocessed foods. Oats are very tricky- so many chemicals sprayed on just before harvesting. She just t talk about ultraprocessed foods at all which is one of the main problems in the average diet. She only has half the picture I’m afraid.

@@janeallen4673 I agree entirely. This Jesse lady is spouting nonsense dressed up as science - she claims Diet Coke is ok as long as you’re not drinking normal Coke 🤣 I mean anyone who states that, I know to disregard everything they say. And she could not even get some basic facts correct - bad energy dressed up as bubbly nothing to see here fluff

Is the Ayurvedic diet based on science? It says having fruits with or after other food must be avoided as fruit is ‘light’ and digests more quickly than heavy foods . Fruit once digested stays longer in your stomach waiting for the heavy food to digest and forms toxins. Ayurveda recommends always eating fruits alone and not with or after meals. Is this good info?

Good morning.....I am 59 years old and been a yoyo dieter all my life, nothing works for me EVER...
I have 3 autoimmune conditions, 2 of which relate to the liver....non alcohol related for those who may assume....
I recently joined slimming world but, my limitations of what I can eat, due to no appetite some days and because of inflammation in the liver and digestive system, means that the slimmingworld consultant cannot understand why my weight behaves differently to others.
I am also menopausal so my hormones are ridiculous.
I'm sick of getting pulled at the meeting and ultimately, I'm going to give in, despite my need to be a healthy weight. My constant steroid medication, 12 years now, plus immune suppressants, are not helping.
I really hope I can find a solution soon.
    Thank you x

Intermittent fasting is worth a try if your health conditions allow- start with a 10 hour eating window ( e.g 8am- 6pm) then decrease to 8 hours (eg 10am-6pm or 8am- 4pm, whichever works best for you)
Michael Moseley explains everything well in his book or online articles.
I would try cutting out sugar, alcohol and processed foods as much as you can. Putting the focus on being and feeling healthy rather than slimming (to begin with)
If you are able to exercise this will also give you a boost psychologically.
My weight has been up and down through my life also. I have given up sugar and rarely eat processed foods. I am eating delicious anti inflammatory foods, fish, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds. I walk as much as possible and exercise with weights at home.
A good sleep routine is also vital as is drinking lots of water.
Following these tips will certainly improve your physical and mental wellbeing and once the habits are ingrained you should notice your clothes fit more comfortably.
Sometimes using your clothes or a measuring tape as a guide is more of an incentive than using the scales. You could also check out the Weight Loss Resources website where you can read inspiring stories.
My top tip is to keep no 'treat ' foods in your home whatsoever ❤
