I have been blessed to have traveled in both Northern and Southern India. Yet I have not had the blessed opportunity to visit Varanasi and experience this beautiful Aaarti. It is my dream to visit Varanasi. Due to the pandemic I am not able to travel to India. So since I can't go to India, I bring India to me. By listening to mantras and beautiful worship and ceremonies like this. I have experienced the Ganges river both in Haridwar and Rishikesh. Kuch religious guru bolte hai ki mandir ya religious places jaane ki jaroorat nahi hai... Bhagwaan ander hai... Baat sahi hai lekin itne hazaro saal se itne log aaye hai inn jagaho par... Sab bhagwaan ko yaad karte hai, rottein hai, puja karte hai... Agar bhagwaan hota hai toh jaroor waha milega... Issiliye mandir aur religious places jaroor jana chahiye...jitna positive energy waha hoti hai aur kahi nahi...
Sitting on Dasashwemedha Ghat and witnessing such divine atmosphere is a different experience altogether. It can't be expressed in words but felt from within. This Ganga Aarti takes one away from the world for that 1 hour. I'm fortunate enough to visit this place. Thanks to my parents. Will love to take them with me once

I rarely comment on your videos. But I couldn't stop myself from dropping a comment on this one just to see is it just me or it happens with someone else too. The thing is every evening I play this video and some tears come into my eyes, every time I hear this. I don't know why the aarti just calms my mind and I start crying and all the bad things I had done to other people starts coming in front of my life (although I have apologised to all of them). But I think making me realise the mistakes I had done in the past is a way to make me grounded. I don't know why it happens but it happens every time.

Offering arati to a person of cosmic importance begets sattva, or purity, in the atmosphere. The mind automatically feels at peace when arati, incense, and heartfelt praises are offered to God and His eternal Associates. Fortunate are those who are favorably attached to Mother Ganga. They will attain to the greatest fortune in this world and the hereafter. Of course, they may experience mediocrity now, but that is only because excess wealth begets inconquerable arrogance, and God wants to save you from that. As you proceed towards purity of mind, things will change. There will come a time when you will be able to tolerate a great amount of prosperity due to your devotion to Sri Hari, or Shankara, or Devi. At that point, God will bestow all the prosperity, both material as well as spiritual. I feel sad for those who don't feel small and insignificant in front of Ganga. What use is your life if you don't shiver at the thought of venerating the divine Goddess? We don't worship nature and rivers. We worship eternal Associates of God who are capable of destroying the universe with a flick of Their hand. It's only for universal welfare that such Associates appear in the Forms of rivers (Yamuna, Ganga), plants (tulasi), mountains (Govardhan), and cities (Vrindavan, Ayodhya). Dull people can never understand why Hindus worship 'inanimate' objects. If they had divine vision, they'd fall unconscious to the ground, unable to bear the bliss of the Associates of God.

Visited Varanasi 2 days ago, feeling so blessed. I collected ganga water on a bottle which was very dirty and after 2 days you won't believe it it's clear and the dirt settled . Ganges being life of millions of living organisms Ganges cleans itself
