This song is iconic! Ginuwine is way too talented. He's older, not old!! He was a great dancer. I hate that video is circulating making fun of how he dances now. Other songs..."Same Ole G", "So Anxious", "Differences" "In Those Jeans", "Stingy" "Best Man I Can Be" w/R.L., Case, and Tyrese.
This was THE bump and grind song of the 90s. Girl I didn't know at all pulled me onto the dance floor for this song. Danced it again 3 years later at our wedding.
I don’t think any of us females are critiquing his outfit 😂. I was like 16yrs old when this came out and I never realized he even had on a black hat til this video right here lmao 😂😂😂.
I loved this song!!!! Those were the days when my daughters were getting ready for high school. If a song had a beat, I loved it. Cool reaction Tim, you're fun to watch!!!! 😎👍🏼☮️❤️
Did you notice the cleve theme of the video? They went into an all white, country music type club and within the length of the song turned it into a R&B Funk spot, but it didn't chase the white patrons away, they began to groove along with all the brothers and sisters too. :D
Ginuwine has HITS, son... HITS. With that Timbaland production, Elgin was killing the late 90s/early 00s. Check out "Differences," "Hell Yeah" (not the remix, for reasons), "I'll Do Anything/I'm Sorry," "In Those Jeans," "Only When Ur Lonely," "Same Ol' G," "So Anxious," "Stingy," "Tell Me Do U Wanna," "There It Is," and "What's So Different."
Lol- my little sister and her friends were about 11 when they discovered this song. They used to play w/ their Barbies & my little ponies and sing this. Sometimes they’d “play “ ponies and sing this while pretend galloping in the yard. - wish I had a video of that now.
Yeah this is the late 90’s and we wore baggy jeans that sagged back then. Actually “they” not “we”. 😅 Please check out another banger with Ginuwine, R.L., Case and Tyrese called The Best Man I Can Be!
I was in high school when this song was on the charts. I remember being in hospital when the music video came on the TV in my room. In walked my surgeon with his team. I had to quickly put the TV on mute lol
In Those Jeans is my absolute favorite song by him. You gotta understand that when he was popular, no one had done such obviously sexual songs before. I promise you 0% of people watching this video at the time could even tell you the color of his shirt lol
GINUWINE was a bad boy, in his day, he was very talented not to mention, he was a triple threat; 1) he could dance 2) he could sing and 3) he was very good looking; fyi, blue jeans go with every color (white, black, blue, red, green, etc). You just have to coordinate, the color of your shoes, to match, the color of your shirt.
I remembered when this first came out and the last thing I took notice of was what he was wearing. I did not even realise he had a jacket on until now lol
You know, when most women my age hear this song, they start seeing Channing Tatum in that workshop…with power tools. And I did, which was great. At first. About 90 seconds into this song, I had a wickedly vivid flashback to my first apartment, and the worst stomach flu of my life. It kicked in about 3 hours into my last ever attempt at binge drinking. Saturday night, party in full swing, and this song just kept playing over and over, and there was this guy sitting on my bed, higher than a kite, playing video games. You know that friend that gets stoned and turns into a mash up of the encyclopedia, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and a psych major with a minor in theater? That guy was ten feet away from me, and I was too sick to strangle him. Every time I would crawl out of the bathroom and curl up on my beanbag chair, he would launch into some rambling diagnosis of what was wrong with me, which consisted of him saying “you’re not really sick, it’s all in your mind. It’s psychosomatic, dude, if you keep going in the bathroom and hanging over the toilet, you’re going to keep throwing up!” He was not saying the same thing 24 hours later when all my friends were at home, having their turn with that flu. The next time that kid was at our apartment, stoned and playing video games (it happened a lot) I pulled out a roll of duck tape and told him I was going to tape his mouth shut if he didn’t shut up. He didn’t believe me. He sulked about his patchy goatee for almost a week. But he did it quietly. 🥴🤒🤢👾🤭😶🌫️🤫🤐😈🤨
Ginuwine was the truth his catalog is crazy hits on hits on hits seeing him live and performing his energy is unmatched so anxious is another big hit of his
It's a white shirt... it matches everything. Don't know what you're talking about but I still love watching your reactions. You over analyzed this one lol.
U R so much fun, Tim❣️GREAT reaction. LOVE Rate The Fit feature. It's always interesting to hear your perspective on fashion we used to think was so "hip to the groove" 🤣😂
Channing Tatum in this is 🔥🔥🔥 And I’ve always thought denim goes with ANYTHING-🤔 (still do) White matches EVERYTHING..🤷🏻♀️. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.. Great song and reaction Tim- 🤘🏼✌️✨
LMAO I'm crying at how you know about this man...at least it led you to his music, what can I say. "Pony" is Ginuwine's debut single from his first album Ginuwine...The Bachelor (1996). He co-wrote it with Static Major and Timbaland; Timbo made his breakthrough as a producer with this song. Rihanna also sampled "Pony" for her song "Jump" from her seventh album Unapologetic (2012); you may or may not have heard it before. Please react to Ginuwine - "Same Ol' G" and "What's So Different?"
That was the '90s some of the best r&b came out of the '90s and that is a dress shirt young man maybe if you would listen to some of this r&b that came out of that time you youngins will learn something he was one of the best and greatest voices and entertainers of that era and still is you're young now you have your youth but we all grow old
Young one, white goes with everything. The jeans also had hints of white in them. so it definitely matched. Also, he was wearing black and white undies and the black cap sort of tied it all together. Now, enough about fashion. If you have ever seen a movie with strippers, then you have probably heard this song. It seems to be to go to song for those scenes!!!
Same ol G is the song from the tiktok and he doing that little side step😂😂😂 ginuwine danced in most of his videos. His first 3 albums 💕💕 some music be so good and its timeless, go back and listen to everything!
Boy....wearing a white button down with jeans is a classic look lol. But Ginuwine is 51 now, he was in 25 here in this video. Social media makes fun of any entertainer who ages as if everyone isn't going to age.
My dude, when you are cut like Ginuwine is/was, you can get away with almost any fashion choices you want. These are the guys who got to decide what was "cool". XD
The song was huge and still continues to be sampled. I didn't even really care that much for the song but recognize that it was a huge banging hit. That beat still hits extremely hard. As far as the outfit is concerned, that was what was in at the time. Denim and white go very well together and the black hat is an accent piece that kind of got swallowed up in the darkness at the top of the stage where he was. That's not the thing that was noticeable what was being paid attention to lol! Baggy jeans are coming back and people will be wearing them just like they used to back then. Keep doing what you're doing and keep having fun!
Now I know I must be very old at 39yrs 🧓🧓🧓cause back at my days, this song where everywhere, and I MEAN EVERYWHERE, EVERY PARTIES, EVERY CLUBS😂 And now 20 something people don't even know who Gunuwine is😅😂
Lip Sync Battle has an epic episode with Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan doing Pony. It is a must see!
She straight killed that! I loved those 2 together! They were sooo cute together
Also….I think Jason Derulo did it too….but NO ONE’S will be as 🔥🔥🔥 as hers!!!!
I just looked at this battle for the first time and her performance makes Ginuwine's video a G Rated version 🤣🤣
That's one of my favorite battles. She "Magic Miked" Magic Mike. 😂
@@constancereynolds3110 Yeah, everyone watching smoked a cigarette after her performance! 🤣🤣🤣
“Differences”is my favorite song by him!! Swear you will love it!!❤️❤️❤️
This song is iconic!

Ginuwine is very talented.❤️. A great singer!
This played at every party I went to in hs. Nostalgic strings being pulled. Thanks :)
I don’t think any of us females are critiquing his outfit 😂. I was like 16yrs old when this came out and I never realized he even had on a black hat til this video right here lmao 😂😂😂.
Right??? 😂🤣😂🤣 I was like clothes, what clothes??? 🤣😂🤣😂
@@vannaty7 lmao 😂😂😂😂😂
Plus the white shirt highlights his abs (which many of wanted to see 😂)
Girrrl, same hahaha!
Yesssss…I was a sophomore in college when this came out, and all I saw was abs. I didn’t even remember he was in this country club 😂😂
Clothing styles are coming back. Remember Tim, this was released in 1996. I think this is one of his most popular songs. It is also timeless.
Pony was in the movie Magic Mike. 🔥🔥🔥
This was a very sexy song back in the day
Still is!!
It's very sexy now. Channing Tatum revived it 😉
I loved this song!!!! Those were the days when my daughters were getting ready for high school. If a song had a beat, I loved it. Cool reaction Tim, you're fun to watch!!!! 😎👍🏼☮️❤️
White shirts with blue jeans will always be a classic combo. Since when does that not match?
Last time i checked, white matches with everything 😂😂
Definitely a classic combo.
Love this song❤
Yes. Baby-makin' song is the perfect description. Also, I'd never seen anyone make a mechanical bull look sexy until this video.
If you want to see a sexy mechanical bull ride, watch Urban Cowboy, Debra Winger's scene.
@@w1975b I'll have to look that up!
Did you notice the cleve theme of the video? They went into an all white, country music type club and within the length of the song turned it into a R&B Funk spot, but it didn't chase the white patrons away, they began to groove along with all the brothers and sisters too. :D
So Anxious by him was my favorite
Twin!!! I love your rendition of his dance! 🤣 He used to dance dance 💪🏾
That was hilarious! It cracked me up lol
React to Eric B and Rakim what’s on your mind
It’s blue and white. How does it not match…😂😂😂. Y’all are so funny.
For real? 😂😂
Right and he literally has on a white shirt
This is the song that put Timbaland on the map as a producer and first time hearing a Timbaland beat
Same Ol G is my sh!t. Such a banger.
So Anxious by Ginuwine was a good hit too
I been crying when you was rating his fit 🤣🤣💀
I still request this at every wedding I go to. No dj has ever denied me and almost everyone goes nuts when the beat drops. All time banger.
The song featured as a soundtrack on the movie Usual Suspects, starring Kevin Spacey, Stephen Baldwin and others.
It's so hard to believe you haven't heard this song. It's everywhere 😮
Lol- my little sister and her friends were about 11 when they discovered this song. They used to play w/ their Barbies & my little ponies and sing this. Sometimes they’d “play “ ponies and sing this while pretend galloping in the yard. - wish I had a video of that now.
😂😂😂 90s song were filth. I've been done dirty same as your sister. Couldnt even sing along to Aqua 🤣🤦♀️
Yeah this is the late 90’s and we wore baggy jeans that sagged back then. Actually “they” not “we”. 😅
Please check out another banger with Ginuwine, R.L., Case and Tyrese called The Best Man I Can Be!
Damn, In those Jeans, Same Ol G, None of your friends business, So Anxious and Differences are just a few more songs by him
So anxious came out not too long after this and it’s another jam
So much fun. The song is just epic funky freshness.
Loved this song!!!!!! Great video,
Too!! So glad you reacted to this, Tim!!!!!!! GREAT song to skate to; still jamming 😊
I was in high school when this song was on the charts. I remember being in hospital when the music video came on the TV in my room. In walked my surgeon with his team. I had to quickly put the TV on mute lol
“Differences” is another hit for him.
I've been waiting for this one 😁
Pony was smooth. Now you talkin bout my era
In Those Jeans is my absolute favorite song by him. You gotta understand that when he was popular, no one had done such obviously sexual songs before. I promise you 0% of people watching this video at the time could even tell you the color of his shirt lol
Yeeeeeah!! In those jeans was THE JAM!!!
Baby Got Back came out before this and was obviously sexual.

@Michael Johns Facts💜💜💜💜
Ummm, "Bump n' Grind" and "Knockin' da Boots" would like a word with you... Lol
Fun fact he is not talking about a pony😂 Cool how he came in and won everybody over🙂
So true
in a sense he is. for some of us with the pony D status it relatable lol
so glad you reacted to this song. You both are awesome, miss your brother....but in any event you guys are awesome.
Ultimate classic 🔥🔥 def got to check out his song so anxious
We all get old big dog. I can't dance like I could in my 20s either
FACTS!!! 😂🤣 I used to tear that floor up, in my clubbing days! Now, I'm just dancing in a booth! 🤣😂
I'm not old yet but getting older when your in the 20s of course bring in the 50s is considered being old. Until they reached that age.
So Anxious or In Those Jeans by Ginuwine was some of his biggest hits
Gotta listen to ginuwime so anxious. His best by far
Absolutely a baby makin song

Lol, that belt hanging out was a thing back then. Very symbolic of huh. .. ya know 😅
TELL ME DO YOU WANNA is a banger by him BASS UP!!!!! Pony was his 1st single & TMDYW was his 2nd. His 1st 2 albums were produced by Timberland

Ginuwine “In Those Jeans”

This was the song back in the day.
An old school r&b classic, welcome to the Goodie room
It was done by a wedding singer kinda guy in the movie 'Wild Hogs' and it was hilarious
