I was very satisfied with how the show wrapped up. Sad and happy at the same time. And Dolly Parton in the last episode was the icing on the cake.
The ending seriously depressed me. They could have done something different with Robert and Sol

I loved that they ended where they begin their love, in the elevator with a kiss! It was truly a perfect ending because they are together and will stay together until the end!
The best thing about getting older is being with the person you love! The show did that for each of the characters! Bravo!

I legit fan girled just now when they confirmed Dolly is gonna be in one of the final episodes.

They both look beautiful. I love this show so much. I'm sad to see it end. I will be 60 years old soon and sadly I have never had a friend like that. It honestly would be one of the greatest things in life.

As a little girl of 8-9 watching 9 to 5 these women made me laugh and showed me that you can work and be important and here they are again 40 yrs later making me laugh and showing me that life is never over and these friendships are so very important. I can’t wait to see the last episodes.
I have been watching Frankie and Grace at least 5 times can't get enough of these 2 beautiful souls. I'm 79 and can relate to what older Women go trough, watching them made me realize age is just a number. Love you Jane and Lilly, sad that the show has ended. Good luck on your way forward. I love Jane's hair in this interview, but I have to say... I especially loved when she wore the long ponytail with bangs to the Emmys at nearly 80 years old. Such a fu** you to the Hollywood industry and ageists everywhere. We need more shows like Grace and Frankie. 💜💜

I’ve adored both over the decades, as actors and as tenacious women. With that said, their Grace & Frankie production is by leaps and bounds my absolute favorite Netflix show. It has everything I value..and most especially authenticity and fearlessness.

I am older than dirt now and enjoying the show so much . It is also hurts because my dearest friend of fifty three years died and there is such an emptiness in my soul . She is irreplaceable . I still talk to her ,lol I know I will not find another friend like she ., I almost wish I could have departed with her !

I’ll miss the show. BTW, Fonda is long overdue for a Kennedy center honor. I get she still gets flak about her Vietnam activism past (Vietnam soldiers still hate her for it) but she has apologized profusely a bunch for it and will always regret it. Aside from that, she has made a significant impact on the culture of the world with her impeccable, timeless performances in film, broadway and television from the 60s to the new millennium.
FYI the president doesn’t select the honorees, the executive committee of center’s board of trustees do. She would make history as the first child of a previous recipient, her Henry Fonda, to receive the medal and rightfully so.
Despite having a legendary actor for a father, she still managed to stand tall, elegant, step and also be successful and have longevity in this cutthroat business and influence actresses who came after her.

I will greatly miss Grace and Frankie. I binged the last of S7. But I absolutely hated what they did to Robert and Sol. How cruel to leave us with that. WHY is it so hard for writers to EVER allow our beloved charterers to all live in our minds a happily ever after???

Grace and Frankie is a really good show! I never new it existed until now. Once I started the first episode I was hooked so I finished all 7 seasons in a week and a half. And OMG it was so good. Usually, I don't cry over movies and shows but on the last episode (S7 Ep16) I cried!
SPOILER:
The part that made me cry was when Grace and Frankie got electrocuted and thought they were dead. So, when Dolly Parton was going to send Grace back to Earth and make Frankie stay I was really sad and started crying because Grace was saying a bunch of things on how she couldn't live without Frankie and stuff. So it made me cry even more was when Dolly turned around and allowed Grace to stamp Frankie's paper to let her go back to Earth with her. SPOILER OVER:
So, I really wish that they were making a season 8 because season 7 was really good. And honestly the season 7 trailer almost made me cry especially when it starts off with Grace saying it was a crazy ride.

I saw a review by a journalist (clearly very young) who said that the series was not "groundbreaking." I realized he must be 25 and had no perspective on what people our age (I'm near Jane and Lily's age) face in our "golden years," which someone recently quipped was more our "rust" years. The issues they showed in 7 seasons only make sense when you hit your seventh decade and your body starts failing: bad knees, memory loss, fear of loss of mobility.
What show - before this - put this on the screen and asked deep and had the characters put forth probing questions to each other and made each other face hard truths? NONE!!! This was VERY groundbreaking. The young writer is still at an immature stage of life. This show was - as they say - "above his pay grade."
GRACE AND FRANKIE WILL BE MISSED

One of the most misogynistic man I know would say “women are women’s worst enemy and we just take advantage. Guys don’t keep you down you do,.” That pi$$ed me off so bad but unfortunately he was right. Grace and Frankie shows a better way for us.
