Watching this made me realize just how much I like these data battles better than the kh2 ones. I love the KH2 Data Battles don't get me wrong, but they're far too easy for my liking even on critical mode you can melt their HP if you're a high level. In Re:Mind however, the data battles aren't just mash x to win. You have to be good at the game and plan the way you're going to fight these data battles, as opposed to just spamming cool moves like in kh2. These are to me among some of the best battles in the entire series because of their difficulty. It introduces you to a whole 'nother way of playing the game.People give KH3's combat too little credit. It's pretty advanced compared to previous games.
I just finished my first ever playthrough of the entire KH series, and in my personal opinion as an avid action hack n'slash game fan, KH3's gameplay is easily the best. The only complaint that I think is fair, but IMO completely subjective is the weightiness & gravity of KH2's combat, but KH3 has so many fun tools that it makes me not care for it that much. Plus as you said, the ReMind bosses are amazing, and I will add that I personally think they're not just the best in the series, but some of the top bosses in videogames. The only thing they lack is a unique environment for each. Other than that, their boss gameplay design, music, your gameplay, makes them some of the best.
they should make a Kingdom Heart Data Battle game. it's not really cannon of the story. but I sure pro players would love to play it. and you can make your own character. you can set it into a fighting style that you like. each boss well give you one level up and each boss well start off as lowest rank bosses to highest rank bosses. just to make sure you got your head in the game. if you already beat a boss you well not give a level up but you can still get items from the bosses you already beat. of course you also get a keyblade from each boss you beat. but similar to the 3rd can also level up a keyblade. here's a cool part. you can use other character weapons so you don't have to stick with the keyblades. other character weapons changes your fighting style and you are limited on what you can do with combos that's the down side. it's a "0 EXP mode" option to challenge yourself of course. you can get some extra keyblades and items if you do so. extra keybaldes and items are just the ones that you have to do mini games and doing extra things in all the other games. just to make things more rewarding when you beat some bosses on 0 EXP Mode. sounds fun?
Well, there was going to be a Kingdom Hearts fighting game in the Style that would have become 'Dissidia' but Disney said no and in the Backup Plans Dissidia was born.
Lexaus, Xaldin, Zexion, Larxene, Marluxia, Saix, Axel, XIon, Roxas, Demyx, Vexen, Dark Riku, Young Xehanort, Master Xehanort, Ansem, Xemnas, Xigbar, Luxord, Terranort, Anti Aqua, Vanitas, Dark Inferno, Sephiroth, with Hooded Strelitzia as a secret boss after you go through the pain of organization.
No idea if it was intentional, but the timing of Young Xehanort saying "Don't blink" With you then following it up almost immediately with a selfie of Sora and YX was utterly priceless. Also did you really need to do Xion dirty by fighting her only using Ice spells, like..I can only handle so much hurt -joking aside this is a quality video and I'm barely even into it-
I did not even consider the honey cannon but, not gonna lie, I can't help but be reminded of Jello Apocolypse's "Basically Kingdom Hearts" video "In fact, let's replace the word Darkness with BEES and it'll make about as much sense" Maybe it wasn't intended but...it's too funny to me for it to not be the case.
Imagine if we could play as Riku, Roxas, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua for these, gotta play as Aqua against Terranort, Roxas for Xion, I would love that as a free update.
If the thumbnail were to be true, the only way that could be possible is if each of them grouped up into threes and alternated turns between themselves. With original Xehanort popping in with each group for some kind of combo attack, then Xehanort comes at you alone, with the others providing additional attacks, and every now and then they all do a combo limit break consistenting of all of them attacking you with a big energy blast finish Or to streamline the whole thing, they all fuse together to create some multi-elemental being that’s very versatile, but as a bonus you get to fight them with all the others, providing combo attacks with the others.
TheKpa11 I wouldn’t mind fighting all of them at the same time if it was possible. Imagine them all sharing health and each of them can switch out with one another.
@@thatoneswordguy They did do that in that fight, but I found that fight a little too one sided, they were there just to give the others some spotlight to make up for what they didn't have originally, I'd want a better arena stage rather than just KH2 quick time events that just generically give everyone some time to shine. Still it is true they did have team attacks in that fight and they did take turns ganging up on the others
If you go with the abbreviated form change animations, it’ll be like KH2’s drive form animations, meaning Sora technically can enter drive forms, but not exactly, it’s just animation wise he can
Ironic how Young Xehanort had the power of Za Warudo but it was Terra Xehanort with the Stand and voiced by Grandpa Jostar; guessing the Stand name is Heartless by The Weeknd.
Really?? I found Dark Riku was the easiest. He's very predictable and once you've started a combo on him, he's fairly helpless. Him, Larxene, and Marluxia are considered the easiest of the Data Battles.
Jillian Rachael Guess it’s been too long between me playing KH3 vanilla and Re Mind then , these 3 supposedly easiest boss trashed me haaaard 😩 I tried my luck with Luxord and Xigbar and I got raped even more
@@togucvinw7 oh absolutely. If you've been out of the game a while, they are RIDICULOUSLY hard. The one thing these data bosses require is muscle memory and recognizing patterns. Miss your opening or hesitate for even a second and you're screwed. But with Marluxia, Larxene, and RepliRiku I just bashed then around like any other Vanilla boss haha. And retaliate, retaliate, retaliate. Air correcting (hitting O after being hit) and then immediately hitting attack are your Best friends in these battles. They're pretty much always open for attack so hit em as often as you can. Having Oathkeeper/Oblivion or Ultima helps too as the Double Form is HELLA effective.
So hey guys, notice how he's level 27? And it's Critical Mode? And he's playing with all the Superboss Organization members? Now remember how you could totally tell when starting off that Yen Sid was right about Sora being severely weakened? Anyone? ...Yeah, me neither.
Bro, I'm at level 99 in the game, with Ultima Weapom, standard mode and I took a beating in Young Xehanort's data battle, I'm recovering and mentally preparing myself to try again
After getting my ass kicked to these bosses and ultimately quitting, because my head just doesn't work that quickly anymore (gettin old sucks), seeing you stomp these guys so hard that you can goof off like you do is... hilarious and amazing. What? You thought I'd be salty? Heck no, this shit is great and entertaining as hell. Most of these fights look like a top-tier anime fight instead of a video game, all I can do is smile and watch the spectacle, made all the more impressive when I personally know just how hard these fights are.
I did one thing frame perfect in the Sephiroth fight on KH2. Though purely accidental. Casted Curaga right as heartless angel was done, basically negating the attack. Said basically, because it fully restored the health that heartless angel depleted. So I had a full HP bar again. But had no MP.
@@axinhedgelion8417 that’s crazy that KH can be played to that level of accuracy when focused. I hope KH4 is the most combo free game out of them all. Seeing what they did with FF7 remake I’m sure it’ll be wild
Not sure if it was intentional but i like how you fought vanitas with keyblades with themes surrounding him. Oblivion (darkness), starlight (KHUx) & happy gear (monstropolis). Sidebar: vanitas is my favorite KH villain so i noticed the details!
He did that with all the fights, for example, against Xion he uses Kingdom Key, because it's the weapon she uses, Oathkeeper because it's what Roxas uses against her in the manga and double form allows you to become Roxas, and the Keyblade from Arendelle (forgot it's name because I don't care) because... just watch the ending to 358/2 Days and you'll understand.

Well, there was going to be a Kingdom Hearts fighting game in the Style that would have become 'Dissidia' but Disney said no and in the Backup Plans Dissidia was born.
@@mitchellalexander9162 I was thinking more of a boss rush thing. like Castlevania Fighter had in mind.
Lexaus, Xaldin, Zexion, Larxene, Marluxia, Saix, Axel, XIon, Roxas, Demyx, Vexen, Dark Riku, Young Xehanort, Master Xehanort, Ansem, Xemnas, Xigbar, Luxord, Terranort, Anti Aqua, Vanitas, Dark Inferno, Sephiroth, with Hooded Strelitzia as a secret boss after you go through the pain of organization.
So basically Super Kirby Clash but kingdom hearts?
38:58 Sora "Light!" Marluxia "Settle down!"
Nothing like using monsters inc to remind vanitus that he was yeetus'd
At long last, I've found it:
The KH boss compilation that's actually fun to watch.
No idea if it was intentional, but the timing of Young Xehanort saying "Don't blink" With you then following it up almost immediately with a selfie of Sora and YX was utterly priceless.
Also did you really need to do Xion dirty by fighting her only using Ice spells, like..I can only handle so much hurt
-joking aside this is a quality video and I'm barely even into it-
For all the style in this video, what truly impressed me was the clutch guard at 5:36. Most people would have died for that mistake.
Xion: beaming around, still getting hit
Sora: haha roll makes head go spinny
Sora putting himself through absolute hell with style.
You misspelled *Everyone
@@Astrela1 Where did I say everyone?
@@jj_grabes They're talking about everyone as in Organization XIII instead of Sora, despite trying to kill him.
Managing to pull selfies in the middle of the hardiest boss fights in the game without getting ripped apart is a testament to skill in this game.
I hope we have the same reasoning for using Honey Blasters on Terranort lmao
1) because it's funny and
2) Honey Cannon for LW (RIP)
I did not even consider the honey cannon but, not gonna lie, I can't help but be reminded of Jello Apocolypse's "Basically Kingdom Hearts" video
"In fact, let's replace the word Darkness with BEES and it'll make about as much sense"
Maybe it wasn't intended but...it's too funny to me for it to not be the case.
@@TheKeyblader133 become a beekeeper sora. Yaaaaay!!
The keyblade that turns into honey blasters resembles that memories never fade
Dang if those Sora vs Organization intro thumbnails aren’t the best I’ve ever seen. The last 3 are almost perfect
dude is literally dancing through xions attacks and i struggled
I’m a little late to the party, but I love this game’s combat.
Yoooo this thumbnail is amazing

Imagine if we could play as Riku, Roxas, Terra, Ventus, and Aqua for these, gotta play as Aqua against Terranort, Roxas for Xion, I would love that as a free update.
the biggest boss in KH1: ansem
the biggest boss in KH2: xemnas
the biggest boss in KH3: sora
With the dlc it's sealed the deal for me that Kh3 has the best combat in the series
They’re exceptions, not the rule.
Trueblade Seeker: "Welp... Looks like I'm about to cyber bully again."
Data Org XIII: *"NANDATO?"*
Hilarity at its finest
As someone who hasn't played Kingdom Hearts 3 yet, I haven't the faintest idea what's going on. But hey, it's flashy.
You, sir, have just earned yourself a new subscriber! Fine work!
If the thumbnail were to be true, the only way that could be possible is if each of them grouped up into threes and alternated turns between themselves. With original Xehanort popping in with each group for some kind of combo attack, then Xehanort comes at you alone, with the others providing additional attacks, and every now and then they all do a combo limit break consistenting of all of them attacking you with a big energy blast finish
Or to streamline the whole thing, they all fuse together to create some multi-elemental being that’s very versatile, but as a bonus you get to fight them with all the others, providing combo attacks with the others.
TheKpa11 I wouldn’t mind fighting all of them at the same time if it was possible. Imagine them all sharing health and each of them can switch out with one another.
Xking III so like the All Guardians vs Real Organization XIII fight?
@@thatoneswordguy They did do that in that fight, but I found that fight a little too one sided, they were there just to give the others some spotlight to make up for what they didn't have originally, I'd want a better arena stage rather than just KH2 quick time events that just generically give everyone some time to shine.
Still it is true they did have team attacks in that fight and they did take turns ganging up on the others
ultimate roasting and rear kicking here. Please try and do more and maybe kingdom hearts 2 data fights.
If you go with the abbreviated form change animations, it’ll be like KH2’s drive form animations, meaning Sora technically can enter drive forms, but not exactly, it’s just animation wise he can
The amount of accuracy in each hit and combo he did was absolutely mind boggling for me
You should've been called the Trueblade God, I aspire to get this good
I still come back to this video in disbelief.
Just imagine if they had a data version sora but with this play style...too OP!
14:36 HOLD UP, YOU CAN CANCEL VANTIAS'S KEYBLADE STORM!?!?
Yup even his DM but you have to get it just right

The drums at 5:14
Ironic how Young Xehanort had the power of Za Warudo but it was Terra Xehanort with the Stand and voiced by Grandpa Jostar; guessing the Stand name is Heartless by The Weeknd.
Young Xehanort is also Joseph, that makes it even better
You should rename this to Kingdom Hearts Bloody Palace Mode.
38:01 Sora "You're through!" Maruxia "What?"
Sir this is bullying, i will report to the authorities.
Sora: *BACK OF, TAKE THAT, BACK AT YOU!*
You’re like the donguri of kingdom hearts to me my dude. Great stuff duders 👀 👍
It seems he's using the Keyblades themed just for each Organization member.
8:50 Young Xehanort: “Don’t blink”
Sora: “That’s my line” *takes a selfie*
Did this man just took a selfie while fighting Xion?
Talking about being disrespectful AF xD
This guy takes selfies mid fight meanwhile im fighting for my life using every elixir in my inventory 😭
At times the camera would pan in back of the enemy like YOU were the boss 😭😭
Such a hard time w these and this guys taking selfies with them lol
14:20 "Too slow" sounded so sassy
Yeah, unlike BBS he actually taunts you with "Too slow!" and "Nope!" along with "You wish!"
I'm still out here struggling on Dark Riku as my second fight
Meanwhile, TrueBlade Seeker has his own Data Ver. Fake Out move (30:34)
Anyone?
...Yeah, me neither.
weak yen sid says this says, yeah no
Bro, I'm at level 99 in the game, with Ultima Weapom, standard mode and I took a beating in Young Xehanort's data battle, I'm recovering and mentally preparing myself to try again
So, trueblade sekeer... You're the master of master , ha ?
After getting my ass kicked to these bosses and ultimately quitting, because my head just doesn't work that quickly anymore (gettin old sucks), seeing you stomp these guys so hard that you can goof off like you do is... hilarious and amazing. What? You thought I'd be salty? Heck no, this shit is great and entertaining as hell. Most of these fights look like a top-tier anime fight instead of a video game, all I can do is smile and watch the spectacle, made all the more impressive when I personally know just how hard these fights are.

Kingdom Hearts 3: Devil May Cry Edition
Holy hell! This was a really pleasure to watch. Good fucking job
You are the LOST MASTER !!!
That would be a plot twist.
Those Toy Story combos were absolutely Viewtiful. Your play style looks as frame perfect as you could be playing freely. Incredible stuff
Take a shot every time Sora says “back at ya” and “back off”.
Riku is gonna see the data phone and wonder why there's so many of a single photo of Sora and the new Org XIII in the backgrounds of each one.
