John Farnham always shares the limelight with his singers and band at various times through his concerts. John 's musical journey has lived these lyrics. At one time he had an obsessive, controlling, manipulative manager who tried to rule his whole life. This manager pushed John's career in the wrong direction. John was seen by many in the music world as not worth dealing with or promoting. John became depressed, unhappy and almost broke. He changed managers and eventually Glenn Wheatley took him on and changed the direction of John's career. Then they found the song, 'You're The Voice', and although the writers did not wish John to sing it ( as they only knew of the silly, novelty song, 'Sadie,' in that early part of his career), John recorded it and what followed was WOW ! In one of his overseas trips he sang it to a huge crowd at an outdoor concert in Germany. (It's on You Tube.) Not long after that the Berlin Wall came down.
You have a very long road to travel my friend, following John Farnham's prolific career. But you will never be disappointed. This song has everything, positive and beautiful lyrics and John's amazing voice, but the real stand out for me is the band and backing singers. It's almost if they are front and center stage. Listen how well they totally compliment each other. No band better, ever. For a total change of pace, I would highly recommend another song that John co wrote, Playing To Win. And definitely the live version with the Melbourne Symphony, very upbeat and motivating. Cheers mate,
John has a song with a message for every situation as he basically a humanitarian at heart and wants to see peace and unity in the world. His views on the world and also his own personal highs and lows are reflected in his music. He co- wrote this one with the other 2 that he mentioned. He also has many people send him songs to record as well and he says, that the lyrics need to speak to him and reflect his views and have uplifting messages for him to choose them. ❤
Such a wonderful song. Our John is a treasure. So glad you are enjoying his performances. Please watch 'Love's In Need', John's a-capella performance with his entire band. I just know it will speak to you. Much love from Australia 🦘
Loved that reaction John puts his heart and soul into every song and it touches people deeply maybe John has come along at a good time for you with the farnsey army to support you ❤❤❤

This is my fourth reaction with you & John Farnham tonight. A good, positive one to end the day on! Going to work my way through the playlist and try to keep with with the forthcoming reactions. That's a good challenge lol. Thankx VK.
John Farnham-I can do anything… Can’t he just 😁❤️🇦🇺 Just like you VK👍🏼 John is just an awesome human being. He’s humble and always thanks his fellow Musos. He has a message in pretty much any song he sings. The way he delivers the message is amazing. Hope you and Gramps are both well 🇦🇺🤝🏻🇺🇸❤️😊
Another amazing performance from John. Powerful and beautiful song done brilliantly. John gets really deep into the music and lyrics, tells a story with so much emotion.
So many of John's amazing performances to recommend; from this concert - HELP where he starts with the Beatles original version and then slides into his, slower cover. Amazing! Then you should look at his acapella with his whole band of LOVES IN NEED.
@@vkmusic2727 Perhaps the version from this concert won't be blocked? It would be well worth a try. Imagine that is so frustrating! Keep up the good work!
John always credits others. He’s a genuinely decent man
My favorite quality in an artist!
