- Adobong baboy(pork adobo), is maybe one of the most famous Filipino dish found on every Filipino table. It is a dish consisting of pork, tangy sauce of vinegar, garlic, soy sauce and black pepper. Vinegar is a common ingredient found in many Filipino dishes and it’s one of the main ingredients in any adobo. Aside from pork adobo, there are also other versions of adobo such as "adobong sitaw", adobong kangkong" "adobong labong" etc. Some may regard Adobo to be the national dish of the Philippines because it is so popular.

I remember this way of life as a kid during summertime staying at my grandmother's place in the countryside. With my cousins, we had fun roaming around the farm, climbing trees and swimming in the river. What a simple happy life. I missed it alot!

No. Something's wrong with the potatoes. I used to grow potatoes from the highlands. That's not how it looks like when you harvest them. There should be long roots attached to the potato as well as the stem. Potatoes don't grow in hot weather. They onlu grow in colder weather. It is very obvious he dropped the potatoes into the soil and pretended he was harvesting them. This is wrong info. Watch other vlogs on how potatoes are harvested.

Chicken Adobo is my first favorite meat dish, and then for the vegetables it's Puso ng Saging... but now I like all the Vegetables 😀 My Son's first favorite vegetable is Okra but he eats any kind of vegetable and he'll turn 6 years old this March 31 😀
In our country side, theres no particular knife we used in cooking as long as it can cut what we are cooking. We cooked our food depend on our mood where to cook it. Sometimes we cooked outside but most of the time we cooked in the kitchen. The man cooked most Pinoy favorite adobo pork.

This was the very first of your video that I have watched recommended by UA-cam. While the adobo cooking was of course the main highlight, the part that hits me the most was the traditional handy radio which amazes me your family is still using one. The Ilocano dramas were part of my childhood days, at high noon we listen to "Kapitan Enteng", "Pagsarmingan" and so on then at late noon the "Sarsarita ni Lola Angela". Those were the days where we don't have TV, cellphones but life was so simple and happy.

When we were in primary school we used to visit our uncle who had a house in Camp Aguinaldo. Nagpapaluto siya ng special food pag nandoon kami and when it was time to eat he would say, “mangan, mangan tayon!” ☺️ Sorry kung mali. The food including the adobo was fantastic! Happy memories ❤️
