The magnificent generosity of comic talent in actors like Nathan Hale-and Zero Mostel-and dancers like Gwen Verdon and Bob fosse and Tommy Tune-and Donald O’connor and Tommy Tune--is a reminder. There are people in this increasingly snarky atmosphere who GIVE instead of take.
