- Valley of Dreams is in the Ah-shi-sle-pah Wilderness Study Area which is located in northwestern New Mexico. It is a badland area of rolling water-carved clay hills with sandstone cap rocks. We paid a short visit in early May 2022. With the help from other hikers, we did found Alien Throne, the jewel of Valley of Dreams. It is a very alien landscape.
Thank you for showing us another wonderful place.
Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing pictures!Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for visiting
Período Triásico . En Argentina se encuentra en la provincia de San Juan llándose VALLE DE LA LUNA. Un privilegio poder estar en estos lugares.
Wow! What spectacular formations! Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Always enjoyable. Thank you 🙏✌️🌎💞
Thank you!
Drove here last year. One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen 🙏
What an amazing video of an amazing place! Superb camerawork and music choice! You must have worked VERY fast to get so many shots at sunset hour!
Thanks for your comments! It’s a unique and amazing place. We did walk quite fast because we wanted to get out before dark🙂
Never heard of this place. Thanks for sharing. I’ll add it to my list
It is a quite unique place to visit.
It's an amazing place I really want to go. Video music is the best
It is an amazing place. We wish we could have stayed there longer.
Stunning photography
Thank you!
Great share!!! Might you have GPS Coordinates of the entrance you turned onto or the name on the sign if there was one. Many Thanks! btw, is this also referred to as the Bisti Badlands area?
The best way is to search "Valley of Dreams Trailhead" on Google Map, view map in Satellite mode and zoom in. You should see three cars parked there and the roads leading to it. There were no signs when we drove our Sienna to the trail head. The road condition was very poor at last stretch of the road. High clearance would be definitely helpful. This is not Bisti Badlands area which is next to HWY 371. I have a different video for that.
Excellent video and music 👏👍🙏🏻
Could you please give the GPS locations for all the turns, we plan to be there next week, thank you!!!
Hi Roland, if you search "Valley of Dreams Trailhead, New Mexico" from Google map, you will find the location. There are quite a few 7000 numbered roads and some of them are very small, just two dirt tracks. I suggest you use a real GPS device to go there.
@@ShenYe01 Thank you, Shen👍🙏🏻
Reminds me of Goblin Valley in Utah.
We went to that state park a few years ago. A fascinating place.
@@ShenYe01 I went a couple of decades ago. I always wanted to return.
I've planes soon to go there.
Fantastic place, great photography and music. Did you download the area in Google Map and use it to get there? No trail there, cant pinpoint Alien throne.
We had a handheld GPS. We asked other hikers alone the way as well. I would recommend using AllTrails app. It seems to have a good description and its GPS function does not need cell phone signal.
@@ShenYe01 谢谢了! So i don't need hand held GPS? Alltrails app will work, can pinpoint to Alien Throne, King of the Wings?
I checked the valley of dreams trail on AllTrail app. The top small loop seems to be at right location.
Can you provide an instruction for how you drove to the Valley of Dreams trailhead?
This is what I did: open Google Map and search "valley of dreams new mexico". It will show the trail head location. Those 7000 roads are narrow dirt roads.
@@ShenYe01 Do you park your car at the trailhead, or park the car on the main road near the water tower and walk (0.7 miles) to the trailhead?
@@qtb2be-invoicing620 I did park at the trail head. There is a small open field very close to the trail head shown on google map. The "road" is a single lane dirt trail.
@@ShenYe01 What car did you drive to get to the trailhead. I have an Audi SQ5, not sure if it can make to the trailhead.
@@qtb2be-invoicing620 I drove our 2020 Sienna 2WD. It was dry when we got there. If wet and slippery, the Sienna wouldn’t make it. The two tire tracks were quite deep.
