Drives L43: Synchronous motor drives fed from an infinite bus: V and inverted V curves

This lecture elaborates V and inverted V curves for a wound field synchronous motor drive supplied from an infinite bus when it is driving a constant power load. One numerical example is also worked out to demonstrate power factor control.
