Kerr should've been playing him with Chris Paul on the 2nd unit from the start of the season for the lob threat alone but I'm glad he and Podz are finally going to get consistent 15-25 minutes a game.

Another thing is that TJD has great chemistry with Klay especially when they are in a pick and roll situation. Klay feels more comfortable passing TJD the ball instead of taking a heavily contested 3 which I think was the key for him to perform so well in recent games. He’s more willing to pass the ball and make a play which leads an easy basket and at the same time knocking down more wide open shots when that’s needed.
His control of himself and his game reminds me of rookie Steph and Steph's first few years in the league. Like at 5:10 Steph used to catch people off guard with shit like this all the time his first couple years. You could just tell he had a different feel for the game than everyone else. I'm seeing the exact same thing from Podz.

Well, we see how that all worked out. But then, the 49ers correctly assessed that college experience was more important than “upside” for their win-now team and got an experienced quarterback that ended up being a stud. Then, this year the Warriors also realized that they don’t have the time to develop anyone’s “upside” and just need a smart and experienced college player that can help them win…now. Hence Jackson-Davis. And Brandin Podisinz..whatever only has two years college but they just took best-player-available even tho he was a guard because they didn’t need a guard so if he worked out it was just a bonus which was the smart move at pick 19 because you don’t want to reach for a player and miss at that spot.
