Jajajajajaja I got caught out there on my 18 foot aluminum boat (15 hp engine) 3 of us on the boat it was definitely an adventure we will never forget Thank God we made it back safely Thanks for your videos
I have been out too many time when it was like that, sometimes I have stayed in three mile slough to avoid Sacramento River or i head down San Joaquin to false slough and fishermans cut. I like to fish a lot of the same places you fish, Browns island, lake Sherman, west bank, Decker, Rio Vista Bridge and occasionally mouth of Steamboat Slough. Pretty sure I have seen your boat out there before, stay safe.
The wind got stronger and stronger. Yea, that's what I did, and yes, those are all the spot I go. Haha, I'm sure you have seen me. Thank you! Stay safe out there.
Thanks for posting! It’s nice to see the areas you go, I try these same places. Can you post a video on how you launch and load your boat by yourself. I do the same thing fish alone at times and like to see how others do it. 👍🏼😁
Yes, I'll show how to launch by yourself in the next video i take my boat out. No problem. I had the same problem when I first got my boat. Now it's easy for me, I can even launch it with no dock. It just takes practice 😉👍🚤
Thank you for the video. I'm all for the boaters safety card but believe that renters should be included. Questions: When you are trolling for stripers is it best to troll with the current/tide or the other way around. I noticed that you are trolling with downscan, sidescan, and traditional but since you aren't using a map with bottom contours how do you stay in the desired depth zone/range for your lure? Maybe from your experience of the area you know the depths. Would like to see a video on how to bait anchovies or sardines.
Yes, I like to troll with all three, sonar downscan and sidescan. I can pick up more fish that way. I know the area. I usually stay just off the main shipping channel towards the bank. Around 20 feet deep. If you get too close to the bank, you will get a bunch of grass on your lure. Mybe, I'll make a video about bait fish setups. Good idea!
Crazy that renters don’t need it. I moved here from Washington a year ago and a boaters card is needed there too, it also has the same exemption for rentals.

The boaters card is a good thing
👍
Wassup buddy I’m Ready to tag along 🤣 Tight Lines Bro 🎣🤝
🤣👋🎣🤙Tight Lines, bro!
looks like you need a steering alignment.
Possibly, but it was super windy that day.
But the rental boat guys are the dangerous ones
💯
I have a spinning setup for chucking lures in the wind, eliminates the backlash
Yea, the wind is terrible to cast in!
You don't need to watch a 3 hour video. You can have a test sent to you like a DMV test. 10 dollars total for the license.
I rather have someone out there knowing the safety part of boating
yeah watch wind speed first before heading out
Definitely. I thought it wouldn't be too bad. I definitely learn

Do you know if you can fish for sturgeon at nights landing right now
No, you can't. I think it stops at Verona or the i5 freeway bridge going over the Sac River.
I thought that you had to have a boaters card to rent one?
Nope

Ride the West Bank close you'll be fine
Why?
lets go
