I used to cruise around SoCal with this CD track spinning on repeat. It has that cool, sophisticated, even tragic atmosphere Michael Mann had in Miami Vice but with that LA vibe. Love it.

I stood on a high-rise roof building at night in the open air. I'm watching over the quiet city at 4 in the morning as the humid mist rises to the cool morning night sky. The city light shines through nights, mist. I thought, why don't I have my girl with me?
Great song and just my opinion but seeing a picture of a guy shot up and bleeding is a buzz kill. I know it was just a movie but the character in the movie was a criminal who refused to work a real job--to sacrifice. Yes he probably had a rough life and spent most of it in prison but in the end he made his own decisions. This beautiful song should have a more positive picture. Maybe the skyline of New York or London? Just my two cents.
