Not me I run up and hug my horses butt 🤣 even my stud he's a sweetheart
🤣🤣🤣👍😎🐎❤from England 🇬🇧
Haha!!! I put the halter on and then go inside and hug him even if my horse try’s to kick me-
A video end horses halter comes undone and runs wildly lol😂
To everyone saying it’s a bad way to tie the halter, it’s not. It’s the actual western way to do it and it is very much safe.
Sorry been around horses all my life and the only really secure way to use a halter "securely" is to use a leather belt type for tying it on.
I'm from England 🇬🇧 🤔🤣don't do western,🐎😎👍
Western way does not equal correct way.
@@paulapaul525 same vice versa. in my opinion if it’s not your horse don’t comment about how someone tends to their horse😉😘
@@cassiemarie9888 I said that leaving something dangling in the horse's line of sight is dangerous because it is dangerous. Tuck in the dangley bit of the halter and its all good. Don't be so defensive. Stop, think, learn. Every one including the horse will be better for it.
FYI that's a pretty terrible way to tie the knot, it's going to loosen as it gets pulled and it's sticking out towards the horses eye.
That's the way you tie rope halters
@@thatfruitygowrl nah you can tie it another way too
@@wolfyy664 well yeah, but that's the way most people tie it
@@thatfruitygowrl Tbh I’ve never seen people tie that way where I live, I’ve always tied it a different way but what ever works for you
@@wolfyy664 I don't use rope halters but that way is a way I've seen other people do it. But i see how it might not work.
Please do a video of how do you tame a biting horse
I think that there's a more important safety issue to address here, you're haltering your horse while it's eating. I've seen horses rear and bite when being pulled away from their grain.
Exactly worst safety advice ever.
I agree, I was thinking that's the best way to get bit!
If you have a food aggressive horse than apparently you didn’t train it right cause a well trained horse will not bite or kick just because they get pulled away from food.
Liar.
Sorry but it’s killing me the way she pulled the horses head like miss gurl horses can feel Y’know-
There’s nothing wrong with the way she guided her horses head over towards her..😂🤦🏻♀️
@Tszyu didn’t know stating opinions was “starting an argument” but you must know huh since that’s the epitome of your life. Apparently your life is pretty sad since you spend every waking day looking for drama in UA-cam comments and replies 😂😉
This isn’t a very good how to, you’ve already caught the horse with a bucket of food 🧐
Howdy, Robin! This is one part of our "How to Approach & Halter Your Horse" video. Watch the full video to learn how to approach and halter a horse in pasture: ua-cam.com/video/CDcv32tgWO4/v-deo.html. Thanks for watching!
Poor boy! He just wants to eat in peace!
😂😂😂😂😂😭
Thank you so much! I’m thinking about getting a horse of my own someday and want to be prepared as much as possible :)
How exciting! Thanks for watching!
Go for it,good on ya mate,25 Yr commitment!! all the best too ya both when you have sorted it
@@johnhorse5551 thank you! It’ll most likely be sometime next year since I need to sort out money and where I’ll be housing one. I’m very excited since I’ve already been taking riding lessons :)
The talent the horse is so crazy
Jk 😂
You left the end of the halter dangling in his line of sight. That is very dangerous!
Good advice
what this doesnt do anything he will still kick if he wants also wouldnt blame him tbh
That’s how I put the halter on my horse
And he can easily kick you still
Why are you doing this while the horse is eating?
How is just tying a single knot on his halter secure?
Bruh let the poor horse eat
One hat is awful. If you do this for a living get a new one. Two that ain't gonna help. The futlrther away you are the worse it hurts if they kick.If your closer then can't use all there power and won't hurt as bad and you won't have as much damage. Third that's a really small pen. Please ride your horse before you feed. They can collic if you feed right before. They won't digest right. I know this from friends horses.
😂
You see id do this, but I don’t take my horses away from their grain and my horse also just walks up to me snd doesn’t walk away. Sooo not gonna really use this ever
Ok one she didn’t take him away from his grain for any longer than 2 minutes also if you can’t remove your horse from a stall while he’s eating without having a problem then apparently you need to go back to basics. I bet your horse wouldn’t walk up to you while he’s eating there for even if you would or wouldn’t use this method there are people that will and do. the unnecessary hate comments aren’t doing you anything but getting you the wrong attention.
@@cassiemarie9888 actually my horse would walk up to my if he had food cause he trust me, if you horse doesn’t walk up to you tho then you need to go back to basics and learn to respect your horse. You wouldn’t want people to take food away from you so why do it to a horse. Unless there’s a problem don’t take your horse away from your food. That’s my little opinion
@@wolfyy664 no horse ever would leave their food willingly to just “walk up to you” as you stated it unless you have more food To give them😂 good thing my horses come running to me when I whistle or call their names from the pasture😉everything about your last statement is a sensitive opinion you have and not a hard fact. Cause I use food as part of my training it’s called +R look it up sometime😉 so my horses have to get used to getting pulled away from food as part of their training and also when I’m at events I give them a feed bag full of hay and guess what when it’s time to go on they get pulled away from that to, the horror oh the horror that my horses aren’t food aggressive 😂😭
@@cassiemarie9888 Hate to break it to ya, but you. You got the sensitive opinion 😂 also I never said anything about calling them when you eating. But yet my horse will still come up to me even if he was eating cause he likes me. You shouldn’t even need to bother your horse unless it’s an emergency. If you wouldn’t like being taken away from your food don’t do it to the horse.
@@wolfyy664 I never stated any opinions though😂🤦🏻♀️ you did though kiddo. And you 100% did say and I quote “my horse would walk up to me if he had food because he “trusts” me”or is it because he likes you I’m confused 😂😂but that’s not how horses work when they’re engaged with their food they typically won’t move unless you put pressure on them to move. You do realize horses are considered “grazing” animals so through out most days they’re free grazing on grass or grass hay and get pulled away from that with no issues to go riding or do other activities? So now I’m convinced you don’t even own a horse or if you do you know very little about how they actually work behavior wise. And people get taken away from eating all the time To look at first responders lives😂 say you know nothing about horses behaviors without saying it😂
A cheap hat and a pink halter doesn’t make you a horse expert!
Why are you doing that whilst he is eating
That poor horse just wants to eat in peace , you couldn’t have done this another time other then feeding time ?
I hope you don’t make a living doing this… you’d be mighty broke!!
