  • Located in the Missouri Ozarks is some of the most beautiful scenery in the Current River, Jacks Fork River area. Just outside Eminence, Missouri and the scenic Route 19, is a Missouri shut-ins that is probably the most dangerous hike in the Ozarks.
Igneous Rock, waterfalls, and 100 foot high bluffs are highlights of this trail. Slippery conditions exists in this National Park Service area called Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

It definitely is less used than some of the other "popular" places around the area. It is, also, super sketchy - Be careful if you go and have fun. Thanks for the comment.

Indeed it is. It’s really hard to tell from the video just how deep some of the pools are until you get into them.

Looks like a cool place to explore, but not by myself! Thank you for your video. Now I know who I would or would-not take with me!

It truly is a treasure to see Ozark area. An extra person and some grippy shoes would help! 👍

I am glad that it seems by a miracle that you kept your camera dry!

Looks like an eastern river cooter, and a SE five-lined skink.

Was the turtle stuck or did you leave him alone?

It looked like it was hanging out, so I didn’t mess with it.
