I just found you literally 10 minutes ago and already have 3 things I'm planning to diy! I love your ideas. There's no IKEA close to me, but Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, Lowe's, and a large & diverse sewing center, I've always found all sorts of the things you show to work with. Also, I've subscribed already. I can't wait to get started. My first project is to try to make a lamp like the one in this video. That is so cute & totally transformed the lamp to absolute CUTENESS! Might I ask where you're from, I can't place you're accent. I live in Texas...and my accent is undeniable no matter where in the world I go! Lol! :-D

You r really genious for doing diy
Actually, if your lampshade has a fitting for a normal bulb and you just put in an LED bulb it will still give off heat. The LED itself will be cool but the electronic circuits in the base that transform your 240V / 110V to what the LED needs often DO get pretty hot. So be careful.
