Trumpets love doing that kind of stuff if they can lol. Most people playing this song at my high school, including myself, just play as high as we can from the E rather than trying to hit the C. Sometimes we overshoot it, sometimes we barely even make it past a high C, but it's always fun. :)
I don't Play trumpet realy but i know whats up. I know that i only Play a little bit when i have time. Regulary i Play bone and Tuba. An i am lucky if i reach c3 (in american c5) thsi there is something like b3 (b5) and there are less trumpets Who reach this. And the most the reach it it doesn't Sound Good. This Arrangement is only juselese. Nearly nobody can Play this
Toils Movies I got to this type of range after 5 years of playing but back when I only had a 3 year experience I used a screamer mouthpiece and barely reached it I lost all my air but you just need a lot of practice
Great arrangement! One tip for trumpet mutes. In my experience, good players will want to adjust their tuning slide when using a mute (especially Harmons) so I always try and provide time to adjust slide when going from in a mute to open and vice verse. So likely either the Harmon section or the open section at 1:24 would be slightly out of tune! Great work!
kayla bultema it called iWriteMusicFree it’s available on App Store. It’s free but if you want more features u can upgrade. I use it and I would say its pretty good.
Did you transcribe this to euphonium quintet, that's what I'm thinking of doing but it would say me a lot of time if you did it. Can you send it to me? Thanks
I'm looking at some of the trumpet and tuba parts, and I think some editing needs to be done; firstly, a tuba can't do a glissando, and for the trumpets, the stepped glissando is 2 octaves, which way too fast for a trumpeter to go up chromaticly, and the octaves at which the 1st trumpet is playing is simply ridiculous. A few notes for the tuba are a bit high as well. Other than those few things it's an ok arrangement
I know you probably won’t see this 2 years later but as a tuba player that part is awesome and doesn’t need any changes. The Bb is kind of high but any player in college could hit it pretty easily (I could play it consistently in high school) and we can glissando. Either we just move keys really fast or we can play half-valve, which is quieter but it works if you rip it as this arrangement calls for. I’m not a trumpet player but I do know the part is playable with a good player, but yeah it is pretty high
I’m a trumpet player and I can tell you that some parts of that trumpet part are literally impossible. The trumpet player from Lucky Chops, who is extremely good, can only reach about an octave below the highest note in that trumpet part.
the highest note in the trumpet part is a double high C, with an 8vb....I know the trumpet player in Lucky Chops has at least High Gs, so.....Lotsa players have that range, especially in the big band + studio world. Ever hear of Wayne Bergeron or Malcolm McNab?
Impressive how you combined an entire big band into a quintet. Nice job.
ey that nice that trombone has the melody most of the time wasn't expecting that
He's wrong? Does the trombone not have the melody most of the time?
NoteMiner probably mentioned someone who’s comment was deleted
and I'm FEEEEEEEEEEEELING GOOOOOODDDD
This is great! That trumpet rip 👌
Not a brass player and this is amazing. Great job!
Darnell Lambert What instrument do you play? I play flute.
Ahhh I had the bass line stuck in my head for weeks, thank you soooooo much
0:55 WTF trumpet 1
This was just written in notation software. This could not be performed. This is clearly highly amateurish.
@@DreamlessSleepwalker but that's how the original goes?
@@DreamlessSleepwalker That's how the Michael Bublé version goes.
Yea lol
Korewa Krusader this can be performed lmao, reaching double G’s and higher gets easier as you practice. It can be hard, but this isn’t impossible.
Really fun arrangement to play on trombone!
How to play this song
1: Practice
2: Be like ling ling and practice
3: Repeat ad nauseum
Michael Lyga it’s a tow set fan I see
That poor trumpet at the end of the intro

only the best of the best get to be lead trumpet. frankly i can't do it to save my life.

soooo nice! I learned a lot from you. Thank you! Cheers from Jakarta, Indonesia!
Tuba was lit
Yes it was my good sir
@@gingersroc it was good but middle of the song the octave its a bit high for the bass of the song I think they shoud lowered it two like octave bar 3
andrew VanDyke it was meant to start high so when they went low it was a bigger sound

Great work!
nice transcription from feeling good from michael buble
What an amazing piece
Senior tuba just asked if I could learn this, I don't know if I should be worried or excited
2:04 tuba how to plz
either just lip down in the transition between notes or play an extremely agressive chromatic scale in between notes. that’s what i do, at least
thank you
how did you get the music to play like this and write it. Which app or website was used to make?
kayla bultema it called iWriteMusicFree it’s available on App Store. It’s free but if you want more features u can upgrade. I use it and I would say its pretty good.
My gosh this amazing I bet the trumpets mouths are death tho😂
I swear I have ptsd from the first time I tried to play this
Hey, would there a probelm if i transcribed this for an euphonium quintet?

Any tuba brothers here?
👌😤
I swear, I can only play that note on trumpet one once, then can never play a note again
Synthetic blues.!!
Whoops thats not a trumpet 1, thats a piccolo
Isn't this song under copyright laws?
fair use act, look it up
What do you mean?...it's not public domain, yet.
*Sneak 100*
Damn👍
I’ll just stick to trumpet 2 :)
Id Just play the Optional Bottom notes lol
raise your hand trumpets if you can play a double c, my goodness lol
I say bass trombone rather than tube
I too say this...
Well youre wrong
Why?
I'm just bias because I am a Tuba player. Honestly though I think tubas belong in most jazz songs and quintets. Look at Mnozil Brass for example
Tubas are actually known as the "rhythm section" in jazz bands rather than being brass
The trumpet part is literally played by a real trumpet player in Michael Bublé's arrangement, so you're wrong
Who played that trumpet part? What is his/her name?
