I got the discord server idea even before I watched this! Glad to know my idea was good. Wth I was doing the same thing with the production value too... overlays THEN mic...... which I was able to get for 50p less than what they wanted:) If you ever see this, oi oi, the mic was for twitch streams
I've bought a BM800 with no V8 card or phantom power. My voice was crisp thanks to Voicemeeter, but there are white noises/ static noises from the mic is there a way to remove these white noises? I've tried a lot from the tutorials none of them worked.
the BM800 is a cheap condenser mic so it does have a high 'noise floor' aka 'hiss'. In OBS my noise suppression was enough to fix it. However some of my streamer friends with the BM800 still experience some sort of hiss and they use RTX voice to fix it. An XLR audio interface or a simple phantom power box opens up the mic. Also DO NOT BUY the V8!
Up until the other day I used the BM-800 with an audio interface. At minimum get phantom power but best if you spring for a proper XLR audio interface!
